) I wanted this because I love the Beatles and lost all my albums several years ago when I loaned them to a community radio station and never got them back. I am looking forward to an empty house so I can play this all for me, bringing back lots of memories from that era.

unfortunately the goods were damaged on arrival so I agreed with the sellar that I would be refunded on returning the goods, the cds themselves were in good condition but the case had disintegrated in the post. I had to hunt around for the same goods elsewhere. So if it hadnt been for postie all would be well :o(

This album is a must have for any Beatles fan!Amazing!!This Beatles album covers there best tunes from 1967-1970 and is a must have for any serious Beatle fan. The Album includeds tracks such as 'Strawberry Fields' 'I am the Walrus' 'All you Need Is love' and many more timeless classics. The Album shows major progression in terms of maturity from the fab four. Overall the album is well produced and structured,it should be in everybodys top 100 must have albums.

I am sure I would have loved this item - if it had arrived. The seller was a bit of a fraudster I think and took my money without an item being sent. Luckily I got my money back....eventually. But it is a shame really as I really wanted this album! I now have very little faith in the system and am afraid to try to purchase another one :-(

The Beatles are perhaps the greatest popular musicians of all time, and when you listen to this album you will understand why. Not their best album, but still plenty of incredible songs on here - that will never go out of date. Incredible Stuff. Guaranteed something for everyone.
Everything from the Sleeve to the music is Legendary - Plus in HMV/Virgin these beatles albums are always around 12-15 so grab yourself a bargain.

Another Beatles 'best of' following on from the 'red' album we now have the 'blue' one covering the later work from 1967 to 1970.
28 tracks appear in total ranging from 'Strawberry Fields' through to 'The Long and Winding Road'.
The song writing talents of Lennon and McCartney are on full show here and even a few of George and Ringo's songs make an appearance on this compilation that would grace any record collection.

When is a 'Best of' not a 'Best of'This collection of Beatle classics along with its sister CD, the equally essential 'Red' album, whilst containing some of the most sublime and beautiful songs and melodies ever recorded should not be considered as the definitive Best of Beatles.
For example where is 'I saw her standing there' 'Things we said today' 'No Reply' 'Tomorrow never knows 'Got to get you into my Life' 'For No-one' 'Dear Prudence''Blackbird' 'Revolution No9' (only kidding)'You never give me your money' etc The list goes on
It's because the Beatles catalogue is so astonishing that even these 2 double CD's don't do them full justice.
However these masterpieces are still head and shoulders above anything produced in the last 100 years and the Beatles' enduring legacy is assured.
I managed to buy both albums, new, on e-bay for less than the price of one of them in my local record store.
Genius at half price. that's a bargain
