Thank You For Smoking (DVD)

Brilliant, excellent, but I would not really call it a comedy. Once you give it the label comedy people expect to get entertained in a brainless sort of way. But this film makes you think....
Not so much about the moral issue with the tobacco industry, we all know they are lying the moment they are opening their mouths, and everybody has sort of accepted this. But the way in which the main character just likes to win an argument. He is just as brilliant arguing the other side.
There are no sides, just like a form of elegant martial arts choreography of words, deflecting the argument without arguing the point.

This film is so much more than entertainment, it is brilliant. Watch it and find out for yourself.

this is one of the best films around, dry, witty, and funny as hell. one of the best films ive seen in a while. as long as you dont take it too seriously, you cant fail to enjoy yourself when watching it. if you get a chance to watch it, make sure you do. youll be disapointed if you miss the oppertunity!!
