Terminator 2 - Judgment Day (DVD 2001)

This is the first sequel to James Cameron's original masterpiece and a very worthy one at that.In my opinion it is much better than the first movie with amazing special effects for the time and some pretty solid acting from Schwarzenneger and Hamilton making it a rollercoaster ride from start to end.The version i purchased is the extended version and watched in full 5.1 DTS sound is an experience on its own i thoroughly enjoyed and recommend.
With over 6hrs of footage with the extra features it's probably the best £2 i ever spent.Even though the second sequel has been out now for a few years i still believe this movie far outweighs the others on story,action and special effects in my opinion well worth a look.

Terminator 2 is in my opinion the best of the trilogy. The budget for this movie broke all the records when it was in production and it was worth every penny. The special FX still look good years later.
The characters are engaging and the story moves along at an exciting pace from start to finish. Brilliant!!!!

An excellent case of Hollywood can do sequels. The plot premise, which everybody knows from the first film, is nicely turned on its head with Arnie protecting the young John Connor and his mum from an even more efficient killing machine. It's this interplay that makes the film more poignant and memorable. And, as Arnie said "i'll be back!" for T3.

Not only one of the greatest sequels of all time but one of the greatest films of all time. packed with hours or extra and bonus material.

An incredible sequel, to a Great SF film.
As with the first film everything was great ,only this time the special effects department had a bigger budget and you can see where the money went, it set the standard for all future films.
 
Plot Summary:

Skynet is losing the battle against the humans so it sends a updated Terminator (T1000) to kill John Connor while he is still a young boy.

Meanwhile the future John Connor once again leans Skynet's plan, and modifies an old Terminator and sends it back to protect his younger self

As with this was the One Disc edition obviously not much room for extras.

However as with the first movie there are lot of editions to choose from, if your looking for value try the Trilogy boxset which has all three films and a host of extras.

One of Arnnies all time classics, a must for any movie collector and Arnnie fan. Arnnie's best played his bad-ass self as mean machine the terminator. A well remembered phrase by the man himself 'I'll be back'! And he did, in Terminator 3 'Rise of the machines'. But nothing beats T2 Judgement Day, the best of the 3 bu the collection must be owned.

Bought for my 13 year old - he has watched it 3 times already. Action packed, fantastic special effects and a good story line. Edge of your seat stuff.

i got what i like .this movie is one of my favourates.i was happy to get if from ebay.it was in good condition and cheap.what i dislike is this..the postage delayed and i wasnt happy at all

no good to me unless you had a hd computer which i didnt thought it would work on a normal computer brought it for my boyfriends birthday but never even worked on the computer and also said it would work on hd xbox 360 dvd player but never did

I love this movie as it was made in the late 90's and has my favourite band in, Guns n Roses. Also it is the sequal to Terminator. I bought this dvd as I havent got a video player to play the orignal so i decided to go on ebay and I knew it would be cheap. I recommed this film to any one who likes cool robort films and who likes Edward Furlong

I thought what better movie to test them out on than the movie i've watched over 100 times. Terminator 2 - If you haven't seen this movie yet you must have been living in a cave or be one of those old people scared of technology.

This is one of the greatest sci fi movies ever from a sci fi god - James Cameron, the man that also brought you Aliens, and The Abyss.
An exhillirating non stop action packed experience that will keep you hooked.
The story line is great, the casting is perfect ( CAN YOU IMAGINE JOE PESCI AS THE TERMINATOR) the sound is spot on ( one of the most memorable theme tunes i've ever heard, i even have it on my ipod ) and the action puts it in my top 5 action movies ever with the likes of die hard and saving private ryan.

I can't praise this more enough, and although this review is extremely sloppy( IM SORRY I'M NOT IN ENGLISH CLASS RIGHT NOW )this really is an amazing movie. In 50 years time we will be looking back at this movie the same way we look back at Citizen Kane and The Godfather. A movie that changed cinema forever.
