I have always been a huge fan of him, loved all of his albums. but this one, i was disappointed with. I bought it last summer, and i listened to it once and it went into the rack up until now to gather dust. but i decided today to give it another chance. I do not think much of the trapped in the closet rubbish, and some of the others, but 5 others have gone strait to my playlist, playas only, happy summertime, slow wind, girls go crazy and my favourite, and one i cant stop listening to, burn it up. im glad i gave it a second chance- and id encouage everyone else to give it a chance too!
im a big r.kelly fan and av been collecting his cds for years this one is excellent and shows just how good the artist is the cd was in imaculate condition i would recommend this cd to any r.kelly fan
I have mixed feelings towards this album. I'm not sure what to think about 'Trapped in the closet'. If you didn't know this is a song that consists of 5 separate tracks. It's almost like a story, but in a song. It is so weird. I think the feel of the track, beat etc is silly but if you listen to the words it's interested.
As far as the rest of the album, well I'd say it's better than what R.Kelly has been releasing recently. Songs such as 'Sex In The Kitchen', 'Slow Wind', 'Put My T-Shirt On', 'Remote Control' and 'Kickin It With Your Girlfriend' is the old R.kelly starting to resurface. I mean let's face it R.kelly is one of the great's when it come to R&B. He really set his own path in 90's with his sexy 'booty call' songs and lyrics. His recent releases have been not so good but this album is defiantly a better attempt. I would give it a listen.
