Enjoyed this movie a lot and would definately recommend. Fun filled action and drama. Michelle and Robert gave outstanding performance. A fairy tale of epic proportions.

A wonderful film for the entire family. Adorable characters set in a truly imagainative world. A great film for young and old my 3 year old loved the star character. A happy ending to an action packed yet romanatic story.

A wonderful fantasy film, for both children and adults alike. There are some great stars in this, watch out for Dexter Fletcher, (Hotel Babylon), and Robert De Niro, who is great as the captain of a lightening catching flying ship. Michelle Pfiefer is truly great as a baddie, and played the part to perfection. A wonderful story of true love, which all the time, is right in front of your eyes. You just did'nt know it yet. Highly rec this movie to all. WONDERFUL, MUST SEE, that's all that I can say, are you going to get it now?.... you should!!!!!

Supporting roles were superb - lead roles a tiny bit tame, but a great family, feel-good movie with nice touches of humour throughout. A keeper to be watched from time to time as the years go by.

The characters were excellently played, especially Michelle Pfieffer's portrayal of a witch, very funny. Good family film. Love fantasy adventure films and this does not dissapoint. Plenty of action and comedy, with a rather predictable ending but that still does not spoil the overall enjoyment. Robert DeNiro is a very funny cross dressing pirate. I loved it!

Great fantasy movie, not recommended for younger children as there is some quite scary moments in the film. De Niro is class in this film, just loved his character. Great cast of actors/actresses all put in a great top notch performance, except Gervais (although I cann't stand him anyway) Definately a film that everyone should see.

What a wonderful trip into another world filled with laughter thrills exitment and action all the way. completely enjoyable from one end to the other. A first rate buy.

Its an enchanting fairytale thats perfect for adults that are still children at heart.Its got humour and a good storyline. Older children - say from the age of 9 upwards would I think enjoy it as well.I say this because some of the humour is a little dark and there are ghosts. I saw it at the cinema with my grandson who is eleven years old we enjoyed it and I am delighted to have it on DVD for myself

Having watched this film on its release, I knew it was not only a film that would stand up to rewatching but also one that could be fun to share. A truly rare film being a light hearted fantasy comedy, fit for family viewing with high production standards, a good script and a remarkable cast. Robert De Niro reveals once again what a good actor he is and all the cast seem to revel in their roles. This is fantasy at a level most other films can only envy. A feel good movie with something to appeal to most of us.

I wouldn't want to tell too much about the film as I think you should see it and enjoy it for yourself. I thoroughly recommend it and I for one will hopefully still be watching it for years to come.

I have loved Star Dust ever since I saw it at the cinema, the story is wonderful and the actors are amazing, Robert De Nero has once again shown what an amazing actor he is. This film is a must see.

this movie is excellent, my kids saw it on the big screen and when i got home they could wait to tell me about it. it has a great story, and larger than life characters. this movie is 5 stars all over.

We first saw this film on the big screen, and was just as good on DVD. It was a big loud exciting magical adventure. It was great to be able to enjoy this film with my children. Some films take it too far, and some don't push it enough. This film got it just right. The witches were wicked indeed, and Robert De Nero was hilarious. Its a great film which can be watched again and again. A good investment.

"Fairytale for adults" Stardust brings to the cinema a strain of magical fantasy that's rarely seen on screen, despite being wildly popular in written form. In the village of Wall, next door to fairyland, shop-boy Tristian woos the village beauty by promising to fetch her a star they see fall. On his quest to retrieve said star, which turns out to be a lovely, if angry young woman - the two encounter murderous princes, wicked witches, and lightning-poacher sky-pirates. Plus, of course, the essential fairytale ingredients of true destiny and hearts' desire

Charlie Cox as Tristian leads an excellent cast, effortlessly convincing as both shopboy of the start and swashbuckler of the finish, though co-star Claire Danes - the fallen star - tends towards the whingy. The stand-out performance comes from Michelle Pfieffer who, as evil sorceress Lamia, ages from preening beauty to vengeful crone before our very eyes. Yes, there's a Ricky Gervaise cameo, but hey, you get to see him meet a grisly end. Now that's magical.

"RIOT OF ORIGINALITY"

Massively pretty to look at, Stardust bursts with (original novel) author Gaiman's trademark invention. Every shot glitters with detail, every character hints at volumes of tales about them that could be told - and quite possibly are, at least in Gaiman's head. In places, this riot of originality almost cramps the story - the many dazzling distractions the film offers sometimes get in the way of the pace. Still, it's rare to have the opportunity to complain about too much invention.

Having seen it at the cinema I wanted to own it for all time, to watch again whenever I wanted. Vastly underrated at the cinema, it had action, comedy, suspense, and romance, what more could you ask for?
Superbly cast, you're routing for the hero from the beginning.

Senn the film at the Cinema, and thought it was underrated. Good quality film. Some well known actors mixed well with many unknown. Very compelling and funny in parts. Excellent film all round.

Witty, action packed fairytale aimed at viewers of all ages. Featuring a plethora of A-listers. Fantastic movie that you'll want to watch over and over!

Easily one of my favourite movies. A fairytale with a real modern twist. The acting from all lead characters is of a really high standard and helps you to dissolve yourself in to this magical world and follow our hero on his mystical journey.

Well worth every penny.

I thought this was a really good family film.. It seemed to take a while to get going but once it did we where all enthralled by it. The plot was good and more to it than origially thought. Robert DeNero was excellent - I will not look at him the same again when I see him in a serious roll.
I bought this film for my dauthger as we didn't get to see it at the cinema. I would expect the affects are excellent on the big screen.
Would recommend a viewing.

Stardust has a great cast and a wonderful storyline, the viewer will always be entertained and sat on the edge of thier seat waiting to know what happens next. Great fanasty film i would highly recomend.

fab fantasy story, great cast, enjoyable story and very watchable, can't stop watching it over and over!!!!!
