Admittedly I'm a 'trekkie' so this is a little biased. But having watched ST:V 7 again, I've enjoyed every minute of it. The climax of 7 seasons in an ongoing story - this was fascinating to see how the story came to an end and the characters stories were 'finished'. A pity so much time was given to 7 of 9, and that some other characters had very little space (Chakotay! for example). All in all, this was a great ST series.
The final series of the starship Voyager, a journey that had taken the crew across the Delta quadrant searching for a way home. From the very beginning Voyager had me spellbound. The whole cast was excellent and varied. Janeway the female Captain, Chakotay second in command, who was quite spiritual, and the very witty Borg drone Seven of Nine. These, and many others made the series riveting to watch. There was plenty of action, as well as amusing and serious moments. I was disappointed when the series finally ended, especially when the final episode was a bit tame and unbelieveable, but over all this series is worth watching.
this slimline boxset is great value for money, and see's the final set, the crew of the starship voyager as they stuggle to reach earth and home. this is the only set of voyager i had bought so far, but might not be the last, the slim boxset might not have the extra's that the larger box sets have but it does have the important episodes, and thats the bit we really want. at less than £4 per disc it has got to be a must buy.
seller waits for buyer to leave feedback before leaving it themselve. this means, that although they may have eceived payment without any problems, if the buyer has any issues the seller can retaliate with negative feedback.
je me demande pourquoi la fin est-elle aussi brutale ? en quasi 2 épisodes , le premier voit la sortie de neelex et le dernier épisode voit l'arrivée du futur de l'amiral ................................ non , pas besoin de tout dire !!
I wouldn’t say season 7 is the best series from Voyager however; it’s one of the most memorable.
Half way through watching the episodes it hits you – this is the final series! And then all of a sudden you are there watching the final episode; Endgame. And with words that ended the pilot episode in season 1, the same words end the final episode of season 7: “Set a course – for home” only this time, voyagers sensors are locked onto Earth and are surrounded by an armada of Starfleet vessels.
The acting is still fantastic, the story lines gripping and the visuals are still stunning. Season highlights include: Inside man, where voyager receives a hologram of Lt. Barkly; Workforce; sees Janyeway and other members of the crew leaving an alternative life; Q2; we thought we had seen the last of them but Q returns to Voyager only this time it’s his son causing the chaos and of course Endgame; we see a future Admiral Janyeway not contempt with voyager’s homecoming so goes back in time to make some amendments.
In all it was sad to finally after 7 years Voyager has come to a close. And no doubts those weak hearted folk would easily shed a few tears. However, one thing that star trek does is to give us hope. And I am not alone when I say I hope that the saga will continue and that one day we will see another ship take to the stars or another series born.
