Voyager's final season delivers some of the show's finest moments...
Highlights to watch for include the feature length 'Flesh and Blood' in which Janeway finds herself battling holographic freedom fighters; 'Body and Soul' in which the Doctor takes over Seven's body to her annoyance and with bawdy results; 'Prophecy' in which B'Elanna's child is hailed by itinerant Klingons as the new Messiah and of course, 'Endgame', the feature length time travelling Borg-infested conclusion of the Voyager story.

Voyager is a starship stranded far from home, desperatly trying to get home to Earth. During their journey, they encounter many new worlds, creatures and civilisations, while upholding the prime directives.
This is an expansive series, that explores social relationships and situatios in many ways. One of the great sci-fi's.
I wouldn’t say season 7 is the best series from Voyager however; it’s one of the most memorable.
Half way through watching the episodes it hits you – this is the final series! And then all of a sudden you are there watching the final episode; Endgame. And with words that ended the pilot episode in season 1, the same words end the final episode of season 7: “Set a course – for home” only this time, voyagers sensors are locked onto Earth and are surrounded by an armada of Starfleet vessels.
The acting is still fantastic, the story lines gripping and the visuals are still stunning. Season highlights include: Inside man, where voyager receives a hologram of Lt. Barkly; Workforce; sees Janyeway and other members of the crew leaving an alternative life; Q2; we thought we had seen the last of them but Q returns to Voyager only this time it’s his son causing the chaos and of course Endgame; we see a future Admiral Janyeway not contempt with voyager’s homecoming so goes back in time to make some amendments.
In all it was sad to finally after 7 years Voyager has come to a close. And no doubts those weak hearted folk would easily shed a few tears. However, one thing that star trek does is to give us hope. And I am not alone when I say I hope that the saga will continue and that one day we will see another ship take to the stars or another series born.
