Hawkwinds space ritual captures the raw intensity of Hawkind Live, it is without doubt their definiative Album.
Space ritual and Hawkwind in particular had a big influence on the UK punk scene, they still attract large crowds of people to their gigs, many of the newer fans are younger than their tradtional following.

I bought this CD from this particular buyer as it is very much cheaper than going into the city centre and buying it.

I recommend this recording to anyone who likes raw and unusual music, its a must!

  Hawkwind at their best

This is Hawkwind at their live and absolute unbeatable best.
Full of drive and energy the Space Ritual should be played from start to finish as intended, something that was always harder to achieve on original 4 side vinyl lp.

The bonus tracks are just that, a bonus stuck on the end and noticably different in style and quality to the original album tracks.

Buy it in any format that you can play and play it very loud, you'll understand why when you do.

Essential CD for all rock fans

I have fond memories of this album (in vinyl form of course) from when i was young, but i'd forgotten hown "Loud and Raw" this album was, its a sonic barrage of drums bass and keyboards with added wild guitar thorn in for good measure no wonder that it has spoken interludes, probably to give the band chance to breathe as this intense and on this remastered CD it sounds better than ever and with all the classic early Hawkwind songs from the 70's (except Silver Machine)its an essential buy

They've done a good job on the packaging too
I recommend you get this and turn it up loud - you won't be disappointed
