This lens has fulfilled the expectations that I had for it. Very sharp and the colours are very accurate and clear. Will stay on my Sony a700 as the everyday walk about lens in the knowledge that it will give me good results even in difficult lighting conditions

I had seen several reviews of this product promising that it was a major step up from the Sony 18-70mm kit lens, but had always been put off by the price. Finding the lens at a very reasonable price on ebay I decided to buy it and I have not been disappointed. I've been really impressed with the quality of pictures this lens produces when mounted on my Sony a100 and it feels like a quality, well made piece of kit. Recommended.
