Sony Playstation 3 (40 GB) Black Console

awesome consoloe love it! i had an xbox 360 before which broke, and the ps3 is much more easy to use plus free network gaming is always a bonus!!

Brilliant console, great graphics and sound, an all in one media center as plays bluray's, dvd's, music cd's, avi files.

Also able to view photos from memory sticks, stream videos, mp3's, avi's from a pc, able to surf the internet from the console and buy games and demos from playstation store.

The PS3 I received was in excellent. I have played Assassin's Creed through. It is an excellent game.
If you a planning on buying a 360 forget it. The PS3 is much more value. You get a media player with Blu-Ray capabilities.

Bought to use as a blu-ray player - very satisifed with it in that role, it also upscales DVDs brilliantly. Looking forward to using it as a PVR as well when PlayTV becomes available - not really interested in games at all!

Terrible. No attempt to contact me at any point, the item in question never arrived (PS3). The only sense I got out of anyone was when I was forced to speak with this seller's mother. I am still awaiting a refund of £260. Do not use this seller under any circumstances!

wot a fantastic bit of kit !!!!!, i was looking for a stand a lone blue ray player but after much research i found that the player in the ps3 was better than more exspensive players, plus getting a super console aswell !!! the gaming side of things is true next gen superb graphics combined with my 50" plasma hd & surround sound WOW !!!, also u can surf the net & play your music and connect to yor pc so you can display all yor photos aswell as playing online for free!!!, if you ar thinking about blue ray + games console this is a must buy.

THIS CONSOLE IS THE BEST ON THE MARKET YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER CONSOLE THE GAMES AND THE GRAPHICS ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD .

Awesome package, not as good as the 60/80gb's but has the core fundamentals to keep it up there as the best console on the market. apart from the lesser memory to use, you are only missing out on a couple of usb ports not included, and the flap to use sandisk memory cards to transfer photo's movies music etc. But this should be ok to get around if your cameras/mp3's came with a usb lead anyhow. Top Games, Top Graphics, awesome Blu-Ray just good all round!!.

I like to buy brand new items or from sellers with 100%, or whom I have bought
from before with confidence. The playstation 3 was received quickly in the orginal packaging and unopened as stated when advertised. I bought this for my husband as a present who was over the moon especially as I paid £50 less for it than in the shops.

Fantastic looks, easy to use once setup, and it streams media from my pc like a dream.

When I powered it up it sounds soo much quieter than my 360, and the splash screen is just reminicent of the handheld PSP.

This system is just raw unadultrated gaming power (still its nothing when you put it against my custom build pc.... but then this is 1/4 of the price)

superb . i would reccomend this product to any body looking to buy a new games console . i also believe it ismuch better than its rival the x-box 360

i bought a wii and a xbox from here the xbox 360 was so much a waste of money with there three 3 red light problem i would say to every one here go for the ps3 40 gb its not good as a 60 or 80 gb but 10 times better then the 360 plus if your in to online play its free online and the xbox 360 its 50 pounds a year on line play its not really fair it better on the ps3 it for free play better graphics better then the 360 in the 360s control pad you need a battary here you on the ps3 the control pad it charges with a wire you plug it through it the usb to charge no battarys involved and also metal gear solid 4 is exclosive to the ps3 it allso has a blue ray dvd now das a blue ray player is like 200 pounds 400 dollers so the blue ray player in side the ps3 is a bonus the 360 does not have blue ray it does not have even a hd dvd player buy it can be bought for extra 50 - 100 pounds i dont think thats fair its not even blue ray microsoft are planning to get a blue player not inturnal its exturnal and gonna some out 2009 december gonna cost around 200 hundrad pound
i heard some one told me you can change the 40 gb to 500gb not sure on it it maybe all so unsafe to do over all the ps3 rocks the wii is allso better then the xbox ps3 and the wii are so much better

The ps3 is a great console and i would recomend it to anyone, it has:

the only bad thing i would say is that mine has crashed serveral times, but it did repair its self... who knows it could just be mine.

I am so pleased with the ps3,its in immaculate condition and comes with a receipt as it was stated when i placed the bid.I bought the ps3 for my nine year old son,reason why i decided to buy this particular product is because it was a bargain,got two new games,two controllers and a console which had not been used much and a ebayer who trusted me as i have not been with ebay that long.Also the communication with the seller was distinctive.

I like what it does, just a shame that they removed feature off it, other than the features that came with the 60GB?? Idiots!

Fantastic console especially on a big screen tv. I really believe no other console compares to the ps3.Graphics are fantastic. I recommend this to anyone who is into gaming.

This console is by far the best in the next gen battle with reliability on its side (one thing the xbox 360 hasn`t red rings of doom), a lot of built in features wifi, bluetooth, blu ray, sixaxis controller and a great selection of game which are building week by week
