I decided to buy one of these because i have alot of spare time inbetween lessons at college and its a great gadget because you can play games, listen to music and watch films so the practicality was great!


things i was disapointed by was the volume of the music played out of the speakers but with headphones it louder so its not all bad!
also Putting video's on to the memory stick can prove to be a pain

but overall its a great product.

Can't fault the offer for this PSP, the firmware is great and the condition of the PSP unit itself is in new condition as promised and no faults, apart from a dead pixel. That's not so much of a problem as these things happen (but it's killing the perfectionist within). The firmware and games provided is top notch and I've got all the functions working i.e. Remote Play, Online Radio and others.

Other than the dead pixel, there is nothing wrong with any of this and I've recommended this great deal to a few friends. Solid communication and delivery adds to an already great offer.

better graphics then ds lite but its questionable if its as much fun.. Unable to see any real advantage over the non slim psp version

I love this, can play games, listen to music, watch videos and plus you can connect it up to your tv!!! Amazing.

They are brilliant, but if the previos owner, or the sales person hadnt had it upgraded, then you may, if you buy a new game you may have to upgrade it. (comes with any game you buy for it.) internet conection is fairly good but it entirly depends on the connection status where you are. if you are using a wireless conection in your home, then it tends to help if you are logged on! :-)
but in general the psp is the ultimate gameing package. if you had to choose between a DS say or even another PS, definatly go for the psp, because other playstation models have genraly been replaced by a more up to date version. the psp on the other hand, has not ever been replaced. all I am saying is, if your thinking abput buying one, then buy one. just buy it they are definately worth the money!

This is an excellent little product. Playstation 2 quality on a PSP. This is my second psp as the first one i had had a screen fault which is apparently a common thing.
Ease of use is excellent, quality of product feels excellent - the only thing to be wary about when buying a PSP (or any Sony product) is the very poor customer support - those guys suck!! never answer the phone or anything - if anyone from Sony reads this YOU ARE USELESS!
However a fully working Sony PSP is an excellent cmachine. I use mine everyday on the commute to work (bout 1 hour each way) and it has turned a boring journey into a good one!

This is a great little handheld console, and not just for gaming on the move. You can watch films in the UMD format, although that is not what I use it for. It works very happily alongside your PS3 and wireless connection. I am able to stream my entire music collection from my media server, via my PS3, to the PSP. One of the outstanding features of the 'slim' PSP as opposed to the older variety is the fact that you can connect it, via a specific type of component cable, to your TV. So if you want to play your games or view your media on the big screen, no problem. If you can pick up a good bargain on a PSP and you're looking for a fun handheld that can do a few more things than play games (including surfing the web via wireless connection), get yourself a PSP.

the thing i liked most was the price as it was reasonable.as bought one for chids christmas but got stolen 5 weeks ago .he was so upset so bought this 1 for his birthday in 3 weeks time which he will be delighted with thanks.

super graphics and a real family console.It's such a great idea that you can watch films and play games on the same console.It also has easy to ues controls that makes it easier for the adults ha ha we would recomend it to all familys.

Bought this specifically to amuse myself whilst sat on a plane. Good fun by yourself, but an absolute scream hooking up with other people......try bomberman with a few players......and a few beers! A right, good old fashioned laugh!

The good: Lighter, slimmer, and sleeker update of the original PSP; AV output for video and game playback on TVs; improved load times for games; retains all of the impressive media and online features of the original PSP; deep lineup of great game titles that offer better graphics than Nintendo DS games.

The bad: Despite improvements, problems and annoyances remain: UMD load times still poky compared to Flash-based DS games; volume levels still less than optimal; limited gameplay options via video output; USB charging option is cumbersome; screen is still too reflective and a magnet for fingerprints; subtle redesign missed the opportunity to add even more features.

The bottom line: While it may not be a must-have upgrade for existing PSP owners, a host of subtle improvements make the latest Sony PSP (aka the PSP 2000) an even better deal for anyone looking for a solid portable gaming and multimedia device.

First of all I own the older fatter version of the psp and this one was just a present for the wife, I have to say that the slim psp is better weighted than the older one and battery life seem slightly better, I reckon its built more durable than the older one especially the screen area, the only thing I can say as a negative is the build quality is a bit rubbish and doesn't feel as properly put together as the old one and the disc tray looks flimsy, apart from that if I had the choice of the fat or slim I'd choose the fat purely because it looks put together better and the buttons seem smoother than the new slim version. Remember the slim has more onboard memory to help with umd game load time and TV out and other additional features as new firmware’s are released. But I'm sticking with my old one till it dies.

it is very nice to play and it has got wifi so i can jump on the net too. the slim and lite one loads up games faster and is lighter and slimmer than the phat one . if you get it chipped you can play games off the memory card which saves the battery and there is less loading times. if you put a bigger memory card in then you can put lots of games on it. you can also watch movies on the psp. movies have to be on umd discs or you can load them on the memory stick. you can play 2 players with someone wirelessly.

This I bought for myself at 58 years old you would think I was passed playing with the new gadgets that are on the market, I bought this instead of having to carry round a portable DVD player and as I am into puzzles this was just ideal for me when I am on holiday, although I have purchased many movies through Ebay I was advised from one seller in America to purchase the DVD's which state UMB which will work in any country.
The portable PSP has so much to offer with the large screen and also so much to offer in getting yourself online and playing with gamers from other parts of the world, you can download movies, tunes and load you favourite photograph this I have still to tackle just something like Itunes (Ipod).

If you are thinking of purchasing a PSP go for it you will not regret it.
