Sony MDR-XD200 Consumer Headphones

I only paid just over £5, so for the money they are very good. Overall the quality of build and sound is average. I used mine in bed and often fall asleep with them on. So I didnt' want to risk breaking an expensive pair, so used this for that purpose and they're well suited for it.

Purchased these headphones for my 9 year old daughter for her birthday. I decided to purchase this style as the small earphones that go into the ear hurt my daughters ears.
I have tried them out myself and to be fair have started to use them myself cause there that good.

The sound quality is good as it can justify the music quality in comparison to its in budget price as BASS effect is quite good but its not an excellent sound quality and music purist can't be saisfied with it.....so overall ..if u want to compromise with budget then go for it....

The headphones are great. Thay have a great sound quality. There isnt much difference in sound when switched between movie and music mode.
The headphones are a little big, so if you have a pea head, look for a different set. My head is huge and they look massive on me!

All in all, pretty good!

good headphones, comfortable, good sound quality, being openback can disturb others. They are easy onears as they are light.

Used these headphones with digital mini grand piano.
They are extremely large but they have excellent sound and block out background noise.

I bought two of these sets for use in the car with the kids incar dvd player. They are perfect! great quality, easy to use, and fit children and adults alike.

They come with 2 gold jacks, so are also ideal for home stereo systems as well as computers and game consoles.

I now wish I had bought the kids headphones earlier!! You don't know they are in the car with you ............... great for longer than average journeys.

Would highly recommend these headphones, again, perfect.

These headphones give a good all round sound, with slightly more bass than as standard(but not too much). As they are quite cheap they are a good choice from the lower end of the market.

i really like the movie function as it give a great cinema style feel to the sound. The length of cable that you recieve is a good amount because some times you rarely get enough length

Sony is a good trade name and have had the same type and style of headphones in the past. Quality of sound re-produced in my opinion is very good. Headphones purchased as an Christmas present to replace broken item (Children) of the same type

These headphones are very good with great sound reproduction. They have a music or movie facility which, my son assures me, is brilliant...!

A very good priced item which provides decent sound quality combined with comfortable earcups and a nice long cable. A couple of points worth mentioning however.The facility to select music or cinema tones makes no obvious difference and is probably a gimmick. I find the headband a bit uncomfortable where it sits on top of my head at times.I think it needs a bit of padding but I have no hair in that region so am vulnerable.
Overall I don't regret buying them and at the price I would recommend them.
