Sony HDR-SR11 (60 GB) Flash Media Camcorder

Hi, I bought this from Ebay and it is one of the best items i have ever bought it has a couple of flaws but i will explain a little later. First the pros. High definition, 5.1 surround sound, very nice and clear colour touch screen, colour view finder, headphone/microphone socket, cradle, 10.2 mega pixel photos, slow motion (3 seconds and low quality), 60 gb hard disk, hdmi socket(mini) manual focus available, hotshoe for accesories, quick on (start), super steady shot, night shot lux, pro duo memory card slot, wide angle and tele photo lenses available (extra £), remote control tripods available (extra £) and 150 times zoom (12x optical). And to top it all off, if you have sony vegas and a ps3 you can save your videos as blu ray onto a normal dvd although you only get about 35 mins on 4.6 gig it is worth it!!
phew! i am sure you can find out all of these things on google and probably more.
now the cons. the touch screen obviously gets finger prints all over it, when using the wide angle/tele photo lens you cant use the flash as it obscures it. editing from HD takes alot of time and computer power. that's about it!
using the camera. I have found all of the menus very easy to flick through and you get a little explanation at the bottom of the screen that tells you what that option changes (handy). the screen is easy to see in bright conditions but should you need to you can always use the viewfinder which again is very bright and handy. I suppose another con is that the auto focus can track in and out of focus especially in dark conditions so a tip for you is to set your focus to the area you want and then press your manual button to lock it there. The styling of this camera is very nice and when you have a wide angle lens on it (£137)! and a remote tripod(£59)! it looks very professional.
