cons keys are quite small easy to mis type. if you like to hear some music with out the ear phones the speaker is not very loud

I bought this phone because my son asked me because it plays music and its a phone in that order. The phone works fine and is what he expected. Although its getting old now people still like this phone for its looks and what it can do. Since my son has had this one about 9 of his friends have bought them but from shops and paid a lot more than we did off of ebay.

I bought the W810i for one reason I wanted to play Sensible Soccer. I had a K800i phone but I just couldn't obtain the full version of Sensible Soccer for it. I can now play Sensible Soccer to my hearts content and for this I am happy but I will summarise the main good and bad points of the phone.

The Positives

1. Good graphics for a phone that was introduced in early 2006.
2. Very compact with a memory card facility.
3. Has web access although this is basic in comparision to 2008 phones.
4. Typical Sony Ericsson layout, lots of themes within the phone if you don't like the exusting layout.
5. Excellent music facility, the quality and clarity of the music is very good.

The Negative

1. The only negative is the navigation control as it can sometimes stick or needs to be pressed hard so after 30 minutes of gameplay your fingers can get a little sore.


In summary the phone is very good but if you are going to compare it against phones of this year then it won't touch the K800i which has a superior joystick navigation control, has a larger screen, etc. If you can get a cheap second hand one on ebay then check it out.

Great phone and was very happy with the description by the seller. This is a phone that i have had in the past and was very happy with it until i lost it. So i was buying the item as this phone is available at a great price less than £50 in most cases and is perfect for people who really don't need alot of fancy stuff on there phone. Though this phone is also a great walkman and radio as well as having a decent 3megapixel camera.

The purchase was easy and fast. however the item wasn't in as good a condition as described and I think the battery was on it's way out but I did have a spare battery. All in all an average experience.

What a great phone, I was so impressed with it, simple to use, great battery life, (even with Bluetooth on) and the Walkman is truely fantastic. As easy as one - two - three in uploading your favorite music to. Those wanting more music capacity can purchase larger memory sticks, some up to 4 GB! These are availble on ebay also. Easyily the best phone I've had.

i brought the phone as it was said to be in prefect working order, when recieved it turned on and did seem to work i could recieve texts! thats it when putting credit on my phone people couldnt hear me when i phoned and vise versa and it would also not let me send texts, i was discusted! i sent the phone back as the seller said he would refund me! he is now ignoring my messages and i have opened a dispute with paypal!, this has totally put me off using ebay any more, i feel totally ripped off and discusted wth the service and i am hoping to get my refund through paypal and some point.

Great easy to use phone that comes with everything you need including a 2mb camera, not forgetting quad band coverage which is one of the main reasons i bought this paticular model.
