Sony Ericsson Walkman® W610i Mobile Phone

The W610i has the latest version of the Walkman player and is pretty well as easy as using an iPod.
The Walkman key gives you one-click access to the player and from there you can play, rewind, fast forward, equalise, shuffle tracks and create playlists. Audio quality is as good as a dedicated MP3 player, and a standard set of headphones is included in the sales package.
The phone is also compatible with stereo Bluetooth wireless headsets.
Overall, this is another fantastic Walkman phone !

The W610i has the same type of camera used in the W810i - a 2 megapixel camera with autofocus and a flash. It can also capture video clips. This is an excellent Camera.

The display is a bright clear LCD which is very easy to read.

The thing with many phones these days is that there bursting with technology. And so much technology can make them bulky and prone to breaking easily with so much crammed inside. But the reason why I think this phone stands out from the croud, is that it has reached a compromise. A compromise between size and technology. It has everything a modern phone needs; good auto focus camera, good walkman, loud speakers, expandable memory, internet facility, good menus with personalisation and most of all, the perfect size for you pocket. None of this N95 nonsense. The n95 is extremely good, but most of mates just never use its (or similair phones) facilities or would even notice if they werent there! Thats why I think this phone, simply put, is the best in terms of value, size, technology and looks.

We are very pleased with the quality and the specific item received, which is as good as new.

The functions on the phone are superb, the features are amazing and the photos are brilliant.

This phone is just what I need- a walkman phone with the potential to accept an 8GB M2 card- that means LOTS OF MUSIC - woohoo!
The camera function is useful, and has a macro function, altho it's not possible to zoom in unless you are in panaramic mode and there doesn't seem to be a night mode.
Everything is good- it's slim, light, the battery lasts and it looks cool!

phone brilliant. charger dodgy phone took ages to charge, due to connection working loose from phone, will have to buy new charger to get a good connection

A great phone, small and slim. Very pleased with the walkman function and accessories which came with the phone. Camera is not quite as good a the D750i. But overall very pleased. Lots of good functions: email, rss feeds, web browser, rds radio, 2mp camera the list goes on.

Good mobile ....but i dont recommend buy it wtih ebay ....lots of liares thiefs and ebay doesnt do nothing about it !

Selected because it is a Which? Best Buy and because I also wanted a mean of carrying music around. This is both a good phone and a Walkman music player. It also has a decent camera as well. Sony Ericsson certainly make good mobile telephones. I also own a Sony Ericsson W880i. In comparison, the W610i is slightly heavier and thicker and does not have 3G but who needs 3G? It has a camera light which the W880i does not and more photo editing options than the W880i and it's cheaper otherwise little difference.

This phone is fantastic, the walkman 2.0 player is excellent. The included headset really produces good bass especially with Megabass turned on. The phone is a great size and fits nicely in the hand and the keys are easy to use once you get used to them. The user interface is great and is very easy to use. Good value for money aswell

BOUGHT IT TO SALVAGE PARTS OFF IT LIKE OUTER CASE ETC BUT THIS WAS IN A POOR STATE AND WAS NOT ADVERTISED AS SO.....

This phone is easy to use, performs well and has a good battery life. The memory card is easy to access. Good enough to be a Sony Ericsson!

Phone is a top model and i wanted to put memory in it. The phone was more than fairly priced, in very good condition and fast to arrive.
Top marks to the seller and a successful transaction all round.

The item was well packaged, delivered on time and had all accessories included, the condition was okay but not excellent as it had some scruffs and a scratch on the screen and a small dent on the speaker which was not mentioned in the descriptions, however overall great ebayer good communication.

this ebayer is the best ebayer i have delt with. a was gave a £5 refund because the postage for my item was less than expected to post the item.
most ebeyers would prob just keep the extra money..
delivery was 1st class as well 1 working bay.

superb wee fone ive had 1 for a year now but purchased 1 from ebay for my daughter she was really impressed by mine so i decided to get her 1 aswell theres so much you can do on these fones the mp3 player is cool and teamed up with a 2 gb memory card songs are endless and with a great video player aswell it an all round good fone this is my third fone from sony and my upgrade due in 1 month will also be a sony if you wanna look cool and sound good the sony w610i is the fone for you

I got this phone as an upgrade from a really old sony ericsson so I don't know how it compares to other phones currently in the market but I do know it does everything it says it does.
The walkman feature (the main part they focused on advertising) is very clear and good quality and I have upgraded the memory to 4gb with which it has had no problems coping with.
I seem to always have good signal and whenever I speak to someone on the phone it is crystal clear.
The camera is more then adequate for most everyday needs if you want to take real masterpieces buy a proper camera. My only problem with that is rather then flashing it just has the light permanently on to light up the surroundings. The light is very good as a torch though as it is extremely bright.
The buttons are a bit different from most other phones and can be a bit fiddly to start with but I got used to them pretty quick and I had read the camera button on the side of the phone is a nuisance for right handed people whilst texting but being left handed I haven't had this problem.
The battery lasts for absolutely ages, enough said about that.
File transfer from a computer is a bit slow but you only do that every so often so it isn't that bigger deal.
One last thing, I found that if you have the headset in to listen to music but haven't put the phone on silent, message tones still come out of the actual phone which is annoying because you will be listening to music and might not hear it.

i bought this phone for myself really nice to hold feels nice in your hand small and very thin great camera good sound easy to operatate great music phone cant fault it a bit wierd to text with if you have fat fingers like me lol because the buttons are very small well not so much a button as they are simply a line so you end up pressing something as well other than that it looks nice and performs well

I thinkthis phone is brilliant, nice size, quite slim and looks stylish. Since this is a walkman phone, the sound quality is excellent but the camera isnt as great as anticipated, thats what the cybershot phones are made for ;) its siter model the k550i is perfect for that!

i couldnt use the phone as it had been reported lost or stolen so i had to send it back look like a nice phone shame about how people acted on ebay wrecks it for other people at least a got my phone back

not the best phone i have ever had the menu system looks really dated,but i do love the orange back it has very smart looking
