Great unit compact in size and saves having lots of cds in glove box plays 6 mp3 cds or standard cds fits easily in glove box due to its size and keeps it in easy reach if you want to swap discs an extra magazine is a good idea as then you always have a different selection of music handy
I like the t70mx because it complements the cdx m800 which is installed in my car, and so gives mp3 capabilities to an otherwise excellent radio. Installing it was a bit of a job in my car (shogun) but there was plenty of places to site it. In the future if I want to change or update my cdx m800 to a later model, a 6 disk mp3 playing changer would give hours and hours of music.........
I like the fact it can play mp3s which i found was rather hard to get a hold of a cd changer for sony that plays mp3s I just bout it as a present for my mothers car
A fantastic peice of kit. Very easy to fit and links up with any Sony CD/MD controller head unit easily. It took me about 20 mins to fit this in my boot and have the wiring into the back of the head unit. If you see one of these for sale buy it!!
Excellent product which takes about 25 minutes to fit depending on your car. Changer was fitted to my VW Golf (MK4- 2003) which required a converter (Cost £70- £100). Only disadvantage I could say will be the expense. Purchasing the changer brand new could cost up to £200.00 and between £70- £100 for Sony converter. Costs can therefore mount, together with fitting costs. If your tape unit is also Sony there will be no need for a converter.
I did contact an established car audio shop, will not mention name as could get into trouble, who were demanding £80.00 for a converter and £55.00 fitting. This I thought was ridiculous as I only purchased the item for £58.00……’WHAT A BARGAIN ON EBAY!’, included £8.00 postage. After 'endless' thinking...huh, I decided to contact my local car audio shop situated Brum and to my amazement paid only £70.00 (After 10 minutes of haggling) which included cost of converter and also fitting. My advice will be to shop around and purchase item used as this will be as same as new.
“…Think about it!.. as item is located within boot 90% of the time and has less interaction with anything will be same as new…” Hope my experience helps you to decide whether to purchase such item. Remember 'always haggle' with car audio shop who will fit item. GOOD LUCK.
