Was awarded 5 stars, and voted product of the year for tvs.
But if you want the best, and can stretch the finances a bit further - look at the sony x-series. It is their top of the range, and features a better bravia engine picture enhancer, which will help to enhance standard tv viewing until full HD broadcasts become available.

This is a very good piece of equipment. If you are interested in a slightly outdated full HD 40 inch LCD TV then this is a very good pick. While the black levels could be better in SD mode, with HD sources this TV does very well. It also plays nicely with the PS3 and other gaming consoles capable of doing HD.

THe colour reproduction is good and the Bravia egine does work well even though it is less sophisticated than the EX and PRO version in newer models.

If you want a decent TV and do not wish to shell out for the newer W3000 model then the W2000 is a good choice, especially as a TV solely for your gaming consoles.
