Sony Bravia KDL-40V3000 nice looking TV.

Very happy with TV superb picture quality and sound. Easy set up and stylish looking. The buttons on the TV to switch on and off, volume and programmed buttons are at the top. If you hang TV on the wall, they are hard to reach apart from this everything is perfect.

I spent many hours researching and concluded that nothing came close in picture quality or features for the money. Simple as that!
Now i have it, i feel the same way, pictures are sharp and vibrant. The picture is far superior to my friends similarly speced Toshiba on standard definition material (freeview tv) and for 1080p blu ray discs and ps3 games it blows you away. Colours are so vivid and the blacks are very black. Coupled with a powerful high quality surround sound setup, the cinema experience rivals that of my local Odeon!! One thing worthy of note, is that some settings need to be tweaked in order to obtain optimum picture, and those settings need to be adjusted for each different source. I have read some bad consumer reviews, that im pretty sure were down to them not having the correct settings!
The new KDL-40V3500 is about to be lauched i beleive. The spec seems very very slightly better and i think they cosmetically changed the case a little, but not a lot in it really. So look out for big savings on the still spectacular KDL-40V3000. A good price to pay is around £700, (as of June 08, this should drop further in time.) Original RRP1299
My advice to anyone considering one? Do it, do it now! (I do not work for Sony, it's just that good!)
