Snakes On A Plane (DVD)

Even though 95% of the film is on the plane, it has enough action in it to keep you in your seat & watching.
A young man named Sean Jones witnesses vicious and powerful mobster Eddie Kim brutally murder a prosecutor bent on putting the crime mogul behind bars. Nelville Flynn escorts Sean onto a plane headed for Los Angeles. Problem is, an assassin who is bent on killing the witness has released a crate containing about 450 snakes onto the same plane. Aboard the flight are an obnoxious British businessman, a famous hip hop star, an anxious man with severe flight anxiety and his wife, a young woman and her dog, and a ticking crate full of vicious and venomous snakes unleashed by an assassin to bring down the plane along with the witness to Kim's brutal murder. Neville and the passengers have to struggle with the snakes to survive.
Samual L Jackson, Nathan Phillips & Julianna Margulies (with the help from others) keep the passengers as safe as they can in such a small confined space. I think its got enough going on to keep you watching.
The run time is 106 mins of heart stopping & jumpy scenes at times. There are parts where you'll say "yeah that would really happen like that" but the film its self is great.

I have watched it several times as my grandaughter loves it. I had to buy it as each time she came down she wanted to watch it on the film channel, but it wasn't always on.

On all the film is a must to watch with action, a bit funny at times & sad??? Dont take my word for it but watch it yourself & see. I hope this helps you if you have not seen or heard of it.....

This is an entertaining film. I think its worth a watch as long as you dont take it too seriously. I really liked it, but my girlfriend didnt. but what do girls know about films

Fantastic,what more can I say.Samuel L Jackson is at his best in this unusual tale of cat and mouse(or snakes and guns).There is violence and mayhem as the snakes attack anything that moves.I wont give away the ending but this is well worth watching.I was worried that this would not deliver as I had seen some pretty dire revues but believe me,if you like honest action films this is for you,it does exactly what it says on the tin,there's snakes and they're on a plane.

I dont mean to appear ignorant but this film is pretentious....dont expect it to be scary or jumpy or giving the kids nightmares.....but...if you do fancy a laugh then this can be quite humerous....The nutter snakes seems to jump at everyone and they fall on the floor....and they seem to move like lighting but the camera makes it look like its just on fats forward! A funny watch but if you have any paint to dry around the house..turn of the tv and go and watch the paint. Good for kids though i think....samuel l jackson doesnt do much for me at all in this

i brought this as i had watched this film at cinema and thought it was fantasic the best funny bit (sorry to all men ) but it would have to be the part where the snake comes out of the loo and bites the mans **** lol this is a very good film the sadist part was where the poor dog was thrown to the big snake but the ******* got what he deserved in the end the snake got him back which made me very happy as well as most people in the cinema at the time

actually still makes me jump and i have seen it alot of times.the story is about a flight that becomes over run by snakes that have been put on the plane to kill someone who is going to testify against them

I was sucked into thinking that this film was just a waste of time, by all the critics, and all of the internet hype surrounding it.

However, after watching an episode of "Friday Night with Jonathan Ross", he said that he actually liked the film. Well, as I am into the same sorts of things that he is (Japanese Culture, Manga Films, Comic Books, etc.), I thought I would give it a go.

It will never win any Oscars, but it is a great film to just sit down and have a beer with. You don't need to figure out any complicated plots (like in Momento, or Syriana), it is just as it says - "Snakes On A Plane"! There are some good "jumpy" bits, and if you are a MAN, there is one particular scene that will have you wincing and crossing your legs.

If you don't like snakes, don't buy it, but if you don't mind them, then it will make a great addition to your DVD collection.

I am a Samual L Jackson fan to start with, and for A silly idea like that ( Snakes on A Plane ) it had to be worth at least trying so I did. A found it supprising good and injoyed it.

I BOUGHT THIS DVD FOR MY HUSBAND, & HE THROUGHLY ENJOYED IT. I WATCHED A LITTLE BIT, OF IT, BUT DIDNT LIKE IT

I could not resist Snakes! Air plane disaster movie! Sammuel Jackson!
I know it is cheesy, a couple getting it on in the mile high club tiolets, but it was filled with some great snake attacks.
I epecially loved the doggy diversion (you will know it when you see it). It will probibly not be on your top ten movies list, but what a ride...not sure about the other male lead but Sammuel Jackson is the business!

How many movies have you seen where the title didn't make sense to what was on screen in front of you, well not this badboy !
This movie is so bad that it's good !
My advice to any potential viewer is simple, take it for what it is, a bit of fun !
