i love bon jovi anyway and im goin to see them in june but this album is great the music is far better than the earlier albums you just cant help reaching for this 1 every time

Classic albumAce album, i used to have it on vinyl- it was one of my favourites.I was a big Bon Jovi fan and this was the best album they made. Great to be able to listen to it again!

EXCELLENT CD AND REALLY REMASTERED WELL, MUSIC IS JUST FANTASTIC, THE LYRICS ARE A MUST TO LISTEN TOO. BOUGHT IT BECAUSE I'M REALLY GETTING INTO BON JOVI AT THE MINUTE. WOULD HAVE LIKED A BETTER FRONT COVER - MAYBE WITH BON JOVI - OR IS THERE PLENTY OF CD'S WITH HIM (OR THE BAND) ON THE FRONT?? EITHER WAY EXCELLENT CD A MUST FOR ALL BON JOVI FANS!!!!!!

One of the best rock albums of all time and this is the ultimate version (except that demo's and b-sides are not included). From the opener "Let It Rock" to "Wild In The Streets" you are guaranteed a full on rollercoaster ride.
Of course we all know "Livin' On A Prayer","You Give Love A Bad Name" and "Wanted Dead Or Alive". Delve further and you will find any one of the 10 tracks on this album could have been a hit single. "Never Say Goodbye" is one of my all time favourite rock ballads, it makes the hairs on my arm stand up every time I hear it! You also get cuts such as "Social Disease" and "wild In The Streets" that get you reaching for your air guitar. The album never seems to date even though it is 21 years old.
This is a dual disc which has the promo videos for the single included ("Livin'On A Prayer", "You Give Love A Bad Name", "Never Say Goodbye" and "Wild In The Streets". It would have been good to see a seperate dvd instead of the dual disc which had the "Slippery When Wet - The Videos" as this is only available on video.
Putting that aside, buy this now and you will not regret it!

Wow what a blast from the past!! I have always loved Bon Jovi & originally had Slippery When Wet on good old LP - so thought that it was about time that I invested in the cd (as I hav not played an LP in 16 years!) This cd is classic Bon Jovi at their best. A must for all cd collections!

I bought this cd as my partner really likes Bon Jovi's music and he needed this cd to complete his collection. It was a clean cd case with the cd sleeve in excellent condition. The actual cd was in great condition too. This is what i liked about it. It was like buying a new cd at half the price. There was nothing i didn't like about it.
