Showtime (DVD 2002)

I bought this DVD for my son, it was great value at just 0.01p and the delivery rate was very reasonable.

great film to have these to stars in (Eddie Murphy and Robert Deniro) because they are different in person but when they meet as two cops doing a TV show Eddie loves it Robert on the other hand don't a must watch if you like comedies it like bad boys turn comedy

this is a film about a wanna be cop and a hardened cop who are put together as a publicity stunt which goes right ( for a change )

I had seen this film on rental and liked it so I had a look on ebay to purchase it. I was a bit dubious because I don't normally buy dvds this way as the risk of getting a copy is quite high. However, I was extremely pleased with this genuine copy. The dvd was in excellent condition as was the case and the picture quality.

Robert di Niro and Eddie Murphy teaming up in a parody of reality fly on the wall teevee shows... this one must have flown below my radar because it certainly sounds like exactly the sort of flm I would want to watch. But then I stumbled across it by accident anyway and I was suitably pleased. Di Niro and Murphy bounce off each other brilliantly. Mr Di Niro is a grumpy old school by the book detective, and Mr Murphy is a showboating wannabe detective LAPD policeman. The two of them are thrown together to film a new fly on the wall teevee cop show and you follow ther misadventures as they trace down the obligatory eastern european gangster and his super gun. Di Niro hates it all, Murphy loves it all. Fantastic stuff. Pointless high action and comedy that is well worth a watch.

Showtime has two of my favorite actors ,Robert Deniro&Eddie Murphy, if you want a movie to laugh with i highly recommend this one. I first watched this movies a couple of years ago and i couldn't get this on DVDs so when i saw it going for a cheap price on eBay i had to have it. Since my purchase i have already watched this DVD five times in under two months,brilliant.
