I bought these headphones from an eBay seller about a week ago, and I can honestly say that these headphones are amazing!
After putting up with my horrible iPod headphones for far too long, I decided to invest in a decent pair of headphones, and the CX300 seemed to fit what I needed perfectly.
The good:
-The headphones come packaged with three different sizes of earphone sleeve adapters (or earbud adapters, whatever you want to call then :P) so most ear sizes are catered for, the "medium" size being almost a perfect fit for me.
-The headphones block external noise VERY well. I no longer need to crank up the volume to maximum in order to hear my music on the tube or when commuting, I rarely need to up the volume past half way.
-Bass reproduction is excellent, much better than the bog standard iPod heaphones, it blew my ears away!
- The cable is the asymmetrical "J" design which allows you to loop it behind your neck, reducing the chance of the cable getting caught on clothing and getting pulled out of your ears.
-The headphones are extremely lightweight and comfortable to wear/use.
The Bad:
-The only bad point about these heaphones is that you do get a bit of "cable rustle" which happens when the cable rubs up against clothes or other objects, but you soon forget about it and don't take much notice once you have used the headphones for a few days.

Overall, I rate these headphones 5/5 and I definitely recommend buying them, but beware of cheap imitations!

fakes warning
) I bought the cx300's which were claimed to be genuine - NOT, they passed all the description tests and looked exactly right BUT the sound was poor, there was almost no bass, it was all middle and top end. Beware, you can only tell by listening to some of them.

These are great earphones and they do cut out the majority of the background noise, perfect if you want to get away from the kids for a while. Fit great in the ears and extremely comfortable.

The CX300 earphones are, i find, a very good piece of equipment. The sound quality is very good, bass is very well held on all tunes ( Charly (a trip into drum and bass) by the prodigy ) a very good example. The high notes are clear with mid tones combining well. This makes for a well balanced sound, not too bassy or tinny and also gives a very good volume. This is true for all types of music not just thumping dance music.
The buds ( 3 sizes ) provided make a very good barrier to external noise and are comfortable to wear for longer periods of time.
My only criticism would be that the cable could be just a little longer as it tends to feel taught if my MP3 is in my jeans pocket. This is why i only give 4 stars and not 5.
All in all though, a very good quality earphone, especially for the money.
If you are thinking of buying some earphones then these are definately a good buy and i would recomend them.

) These have to be some fo the best head phones on the market today. In ear and absolutely superb external noise/sound cancelling so all you listen to is the music! These are better than Bose in ear phones that cost 3 times as much! If you are paying less that 13 quid for these, buyer beware as you are probably buying cheap copies. What don't I like about these - dont like the wire on one side being shorter than the other, I prefer them to be of the same length but thats just a personal preference. I bought these based on the brand name.

I already knew Sennheiser phones were good, and had read good reports. These little beauties are worth five times the price. anyone buying an ipod or mp3 player, my advice is first thing, ditch the earphones that come boxed with it. and get a pair of these. Some people are squeamish over in-ear phones, others complain their ears are the wrong shape or that they are uncomfortable. Forget that! These are so light and comfortable, you forget they are in. They come with three pairs of different-sized silicone buds (non-allergy inducing) to fit any lughole. Bass response is superb, and they very efficiently block out extraneous noise- so you don't have to have your player on so loud. Mid and high-range sound is nice and crisp. Remember to put your mobile on vibrate.! As for forgeries, these are definitely the real deal! An absolute steal.

I can't recommend these headphones enough for the price paid. they have clear bass, excellent sound separation, an excellent frequency response, are comfy and are simply the best head phones available in this price range. They have improved my enjoyment of music.

Sennheiser CX 300 headphones
The Sennheiser CX 300 headphones are extremely good headphones, i had several pairs of headphones before purchasing these Sennheisers and i can safely say that these are the best quality headphones that I own, due to the unique design they are comfortable and have noise reducing qualities thanks to the in ear pieces which come in three sizes, small, medium and large to ensure a tight fit.
This means that you can listen to music anywhere without having to turn up the volume to the point where the person next to you can hear it?
The bass on these headphones are brilliant much better than any other headphones including ipod ones!
The issues:
1. i felt that the wire for these headphones could have done with being slightly longer for if you want to put your mp3/4 device into a deep pocket, but still a good length.
2. watch out for fakes, i own a pir of these Sennheiser headphones and thanks to the ebay help page:

I was able to lower the chance of them being fake, use this page before buying especially if the price is too good to be true!
I would give these a 4.5/5 rating the main reason for this is the fact that the wire is a little too short for my liking but you can't fault the sound quality!

Sennheiser CX300Awesome audio quality for no money at all really.
This is my second set of these headphones, first set used to destruction.
They cut out background noise as good as specifically designed headphones do at a fraction of the cost, they are extremely comfortable, light and great for ipod use too.

Great headphones, shame about the plug.Great sound and they really do cut out a lot of outside noise. My only gripe is that the plug is a 90 degree angled plug and a little to too fat to fit through my ipod nano protective case.

Chris (stave84) sells these superb, genuine Sennheiser earbuds at less than half retail price. They are so good that I cannot bear to be without a pair! And I've bought them for my family too! iPods sound so dull on 'normal' and uncomfortable in-ear 'phones - these CX300s really supercharge the audio experience. AND they sound better than the B&Os or Shure EC3s. Maximum value & maximum enjoyment.

Sennheiser CX 300 HeadphonesThe sound quality is quite good on these. However, I have a big issue with the fact you have to fit them deep into your ear canal. Unfortunately, the left earphone just does not want to stay in my ear properly and when this happens you lose the sound qualiity, particularly the bass. The idea is good, but in practice it is a bit hit and miss in terms of whether you have the right size and shape ear canal for them.

Going by their reputation for quality and the belief that these were genuine, I decided to buy them.
The sound quality is superb and the fitting and syle is excellent which also adds to the sound quality.
I wish they had come with a bag or some sort of protection for the headphones when not in use and for the price you would have thought they would however, this doesn't detract from the quality only their longevity.

These headphones are so light and comfortable to wear, I was begining to think I would not find a comfortable pair of headphones as I only have small ears, and the normal in-ear headphones seemed to hurt after a while and fall out. These have made listening to my music fun again and they certainly block out outside noise and the sound is brilliant!!. Highly recommended.

The Sennheiser CX 300 in ear headphones are some of the best I have owned. the clarity and sound depth is outstanding.
The CX 300 fit snugly into you ear and are so snug that they also work as ear plugs, so they are great for use on aircraft or just for shutting out the wife.
I woyuld strnly recomend these headphones.

I bought the same headphones at Stanstead Airport they were £34 (tax free), I was at a work residential taking a group of young people to the lake district, the headphones went missing!! I looked in to another set from Dixons (high street) they were £39. I then did a search on ebay and they were £4. When they arrived I was overjoyed, they were exactly the same as the ones that 'went missing'. I use them everyday travelling up to london on train (laptop) Other headphones are knowwhere near as good. And all for £4.. That makes the duty free ones sound like a rip off

I'm not impressed by these headphones. I'm sure they are genuine, but I don't really like the sound, my ipod headphones have a much better sound. Also I find the noise of the cable very irritating, you have to sit still if you move you hear the cable frotting against your clothes. Not a good buy!!! The only good thing is the fact that they stay in your ears...

I was disappointed actually! I bought these to replace the headphones that were supplied with my Logik MP3 player and compared to my old ones I think these lack depth and sound a bit tinny. I have adjusted the equalizer on my MP3 to try and compensate but I like a good bass sound and for me, they just don't cut it!
