I really like this unit. While it isn't the newest or cheapest around it has always been popular and with good reason - its has great functionality at a very reasonable price.
With 200K words it has almost double the word count of the Franklin entry level spell checker or thesaurus and is aimed towards the enthusiast crossword solver rather then the occasional user. This unit contains almost as many words as the more expensive models Seiko offer although regular crossword puzzle solvers looking for search functions would be better off with the ER3000 or ER3500.
This unit also has a calculator and more helpfully metric and imperial conversions. As with all other electronic dictionaries games are included but they are mostly of passing interest only.
Still good value and while it costs a few more pounds than the entry level Franklin spellers it is worth it for the much larger data bank.
An excellent help in all Englsh problems with special view on crosswords. Most excellent anagram solver with any letters sorted and possible answers given. Spelling help does not have to include the first letter, as with other devices. Really good tool which will be a superb bonus over the years.
hi recived well. but a littel disserpointed with the product. but only my opinion as you have to know how to spell the words befor it can say if it is good or not but having said that its quit good many thanks diane.
I bought this to help my son(12)with spellings. He loves it,can pop it in his school bag or pocket...all his mates were infact envious! Now his spelling is improving,I wish they had these when I was at school!!
