Secret Window (DVD 2004)

Great movie. Johnny Depp does a superb job of playing an eccentric author on the rocks. Storyline a little slow moving. Luckily, Johnny Depp's acting saves the day.

In every way it's everything you want from a psychological thriller and the plot kicks in from the beginning, there is no waiting for it to start like there is with some similar films. It's feeling of secludedness and fear reminds me of Misery (the James Caan/Kathy Bates film.)

Johnny Depp is amazing and is backed by a cast that can truly stand up to his awe inspiring and incredibly engaging performance.

There was absolutely zero that I disliked about this film- it's better than it says on the tin!

I bought it because I saw it at the cinema and loved it and recently got into Depp's films again after watching the amazing Sweeney Todd. I decided Secret Window would add the perfect addition to my growing collection.

This is Johnny Depp at his best, really eccentric character. I love the twists the plot takes which I won't state, as this will ruin it for you. Worth a watch, it is one of my favourite all time movies.

Depp, as usual superb, a great dark moody film, worthy of any mortal souls attention for a couploe of hours.

This film is a must have for any Johnny Depp fan, his character Mort is very believable and you can feel the emotion of the film. A great twist, great story and great acting. You must buy this if your a true Johnny fan and if your not its still a great film for anyones collection.

What can I say about this film, brilliant.
If you like your films to be full of suspense, then this would be the film for you. Its a proper pyschological thriller that may make you a bit jumpy in places with plenty of twists and turns. Johnny Depp plays another great perforfamce as novelist morton rainney who's depressed and bitter in the middle of a divorce from his cheating wife, who he still has deep feelings for. If you are a Johnny Depp fan, as I am, then you should get this to had to your collection, as i have added this brilliant film to my ever growing collection.

A well acted , cleverly directed movie that keeps you guessing right until the end. Johnny Depp gives an excellent portrayal as the reclusive, flawed writer, which is what gives the film it's main appeal.
I particularly liked the house,and I would like to think that there is such a place in real life that fantastic.
The best thing for me about the film though, is the fact that I won it for eleven pence!!!

I decided to buy this as one of my friends is a huge Johnny Depp fan and she recommended this one to me and she wasn't wrong. I urge those of you who haven't seen it to get your hands on a copy!

The film sports the fantastic acting of Mr Deep, whom plays the role to his usual astounding level. Having seen the film prior to purchase i decided it was definetly one to add to my collection, another classic from Stephen King. The film is a great psychological thriller with many twists and turns, leaving the viewer gripped by the suspense of the plot right until the climax at the end.....not much to dislike in my opinion-watch it for yourself!

i love this film. its abit difficult to follow at first but it is very interesting. i think it is one of johnny depps best films. it is a type of film that keeps you guessing all the way threw. i decided to buy it because i already had it on video an wanted a copy on dvd just incase. and i had wore out my video id watched it that many time. an execellent film. well recommended.
