Saving Grace (DVD 2002)

great film very funny.good seller got dvd within 2 days.i will buy from seller again.i am a fan of doc martin and saving grace was the start of it so it is a must see for all doc martin fans

we were both really pleased when this arrived-quicktoo - the film is spot on - not a scratch on it and plays like a dream - sat and laughed my ass off with some pop corn and a fine wine - im just rambling as i have to do a hundred characters. would reccommend this seller - very quick and efficient!!!

I was recommended this film as I loved the Doc Martin series especially as the location is in my home county. Saving Grace is must for anyone to watch..... hilarious and quite unexpected....Definitely one not to miss.

Saw this on Sky Comedy Channel on the off chance yesterday morning, flicking through the channels. Even after two minutes I couldn't stop watching. Thought it was so brilliant that immediately came on Ebay to buy the DVD so I could let my mum borrow it. Good, entertaining, light hearted British comedy, not at all offensive and suitable for all adult ages. Would definitely recommend this.

This film is a typically gentle english comedy, almost in the style of Bridget Jones, which also probes the serious question about the use of canabis and its cultivation.

It is very well acted, Brenda Blethyn was superb as the recently widowed woman who finds that her deceased hubby had morgaged the family home to the hilt and how she trys to turn around a seemingly helpless situation by using her skill of growing of championship winning orchids.

The Cornish scenery is wonderful,(the film was shot in and around Port Issacc, its no wonder that Martin Clunes,( who plays the village doctor in the film), chose the location for his brilliant "Doc Martin" TV shows.

Like all good stories it has a twist in the tale but I am not going to ruin your fun by telling what it is!

I bought the dvd because the price was great, and I wanted this movie to complement the Doc Martin series 1 and 2 dvd's that i have.

Must admit to have been surprised that the disc itself came via Poland, had polish adverts at its start and polish subtitles throughout the main feature. Thankfully the seller remembered to warn me of these when he advised me that it had been sent and they were removable simply press the dvd player's "subtitle off" switch.

I recommend the film as the gentle humour imerses you in a warm feeling, you find yourself sharing the moral dilema that is facing Grace and her freinds who involve her in something that is unlawful.

And if you pay the price i paid you wont feel robbed if you find you dont like the movie!

What a great film. Good Clean and very funny. See where Doc Martin came from ( Martin Clunes ). If you Enjoyed Doc Martin you will enjoy this. A great cast.

I was feeling a bit down and my best friend recommended I watch this film as she had watched it and thought it was hilarious. Laugh Out Loud I did, it was so funny! Ok some of the antics were a bit far fetched from the truth, but that made it all the more laughable. For those who know nothing about how weed is grown, I'll just say "Folks dont try this one at home".

What a great and very funny film something of a easy watcher with very funny moments.
A great british comedy that will have you laughing for a long time after you have watched it.
More for adults not realy for children.
