These cards are cheap 8GB of compact flash, but they are not genuine SanDisk cards, at least mine wasn't. It was recognised on my computer as an <SMI MODEL> brand rather than the expected <SanDisk SDCF4-8192> card as described.
I've been using this so called Sandisk reader for about a month now. Provided drivers' installer won't even start. Vista and XP see the reader as a GENERIC device, not as an original one. That wouldn't even be that bad if not for the fact that from today this reader has started causing blue screens! You can connect it alright, but just try to insert a card (that works fine in the camera, and even when you plug the camera to the pc) and there you go - memory dump and restart. I live with 3 housemates, all of us have PCs. Same thing happens on everyone's.
Le prix raisonnable, delai livraison rapide ça m'a d'ailleur etonné, et le tarif des frais postaux ras, je dis a recommander..., et je racheter la prochaine fois.
I've tested all the CF "EXTREME IV" I've bided and won and it looks to me it are all FAKE. Transfer data speed is slower that my old Exteme II 2gb cf's and it doesn't even show the cf's as sandisk but as "GENERIC".............
great value for money - thanks very much for sending it so quickly - my son will have great fun filling it up as he will be doing his first wedding on it in July
This is about the fastest compact flash card that you can get on the market and it really works well with my Canon 40D camera. The fast speed means that I can take pictures in RAW format and am not having to wait for them to write to the card
This card is exellent for storing alot of my photos ...up to 10000 small size pics which is brilliant with the work i do . For taking raw pics can hold around 500 which is fair for a card this size and plenty of room for other size pics. The pouch that the card comes with is also very handy too.
