Samsung SGH-D800 Mobile Phone

The curvy silver edges make the phone look thinner than the numbers suggest, and the device itself is very pocketable. Although the front is made of smooth black plastic, it is not prone to fingerprints at all, but the same cannot be said for the silver accents around the device. The rest of the phone is mainly made of magnesium alloy, and this gives a very strong metallic feeling. The build quality is excellent, and scratch resistance is above average.

Sliding open the phone will reveal a one-piece keypad. It is well backlit and well spaced. Because of the thinness and shape of the rim, the buttons on the bottom row are extremely difficult to access. Tactile feeling is also greatly sacrificed for the design.

The sides of the phone are minimalist, with the camera shortcut key on the right, and the volume controls as well as the headset/power/data port on the left. The camera is hidden on the back of the screen, similar to the D600, giving it protection when the handset is closed.

The phone uses the same half auto-slide mechanism found on earlier models. The spring mechanism is fine-tuned to fit the heavier parts, and I find it just at the right strength.

i liked this item because it was cheap its not the best phone ive had but its for the car not show. If you want a up to date phone dont buy it if you want a simple phone this will is good enough without breaking the bank.

I bought this mobile for my 14 year old daughter who is one of the fussiest kids around when it comes to telephones. As a reward for her SATS results I offered to pay £30.00 towards a new phone and she decided to pick this one. She is overjoyed with this phone and has had plenty of interest from her mates.

i baught this phone thinking it was new and not used as described but clearly wrong as when i opened it it looked gr8 but there was no charger and the head phones were 4 a different phone am very unhappy and shant buy from this seller ever again and would not recomend any1 elser 2.

User friendly the list is clear on a very good screen .Nothing to dislike found all operations easy to understand.The colour white also makes it stand out all in all a brilliant phone.

Got this phone for my 8year old grandson, It was great value for money, got all the goodies kids like, Music, Camera, Web, Bluetooth etc. He loves it.

i just love the phone altogether and im glad it was as it said it was. I brought it for my boyfriend's birthday and it was much appreciated. It was definately worth what i paid for it.

Having converted most of my old video collection to DVD I was thrilled to find this film gem in digital format. If you watch this in widescreen format, it really does the battle scene great justice; coupled with surround sound, you'll be gripped by the amazing cinematography. I would recommend the director's cut that includes scenes about the relationship between the lead character and his estranged wife and helps you to understand the motivation behind his decision. The run time is 183 minutes for the directors cut and 120 minutes for the cinema version. I was, however, disappointed by the lack of extras, which any fan of this classic would expect to be included. Excellent product.compensated by great communication. Recommended

The phone was like brand new. Its easy to use far better than my old sony erricson. Great price as i bought the phone with buy it now £40.00 and £4.95 postage. Item was posted them same day as purchase and recieved the following day.

I bought it because I liked it pretty much and the price was reasonable.I recieved it very quickly and I am very pleased with the phone.

simple, cheap, good looking and elegant, I love it. The only thing that could make it better is if it would accept external memory.

worth the money very good memory but you cant expand it perfect for makeing calls and txting very good camera and good mp3 player what more can u ask for

Two years ago I bought a Samsung SGH-D800 and was impressed by the quality of pictures and video. The internet was a little clumsy but apart from that it was ideal. I refused a free upgrade! It did not enjoy being put in the washing machine though. The phone impressed me so much that despite the choices out there I have just bought another one off ebay. It has a good precise key action and the screen resolution is excellent. Watch the slider though - one bit of grit and it ruins the smoothness.

i wanted a cheap mobile phone as i only make a call very rarely
it seemed the ideal phone

bought this phone for my daughter, a gr8 little phone with lots of features, looks good too!!! i have a d900 and it is the perfect lower cost alternative, only downside is it doesnt have a memory card feature. would definately recommend this phone

Well what can I say, Im not very good at finding and sorting out the menus and accesories on mobile phones but I found this one realy simple and user friendly. Any gadget that can stand up to my 'fumblings' gets 10 out of 10 from me. Only disapointing part was the memory size for the mp3 player, it only holds 20 songs at a time .. unless I am doing that wrong too lol !!
