  Neat little phone

The Samsung A800 is an extremely sophisticated phone which offers downloadable polyphonic ringtones and lets you customise your own phone the way you want. Its voice activation features are also impressive and there is a range of multimedia avaliable such as games.
The only negative side to this phone is that it needs to be handled with extreme care as the external display is very easy to crack and the flap can very easily be broken so i have been told. (Never Happened to Me!)
Apart from that the phone is impressive.

These phones are so neat and tidy i just love them, for their size the have a lot of functions including WAP, ok so they may not have full colour sceens but i quite like the blue light. They are so simple to use they're fool proof and i would really recommend these as a first mobile for anyone. Easy to make calls and txt, it has alarms, calender, shceduler and voice activated dialing, very impresive for it size..

The phone had teeth marks on it!!! This was not mentioned anywhere in the description. I couldn't be heard when I made a call so had obviously not been tested. Not fit to be sold only fit for the bin. Rip off

Easy to use stylish basic flip-phone
Review created: 01/04/08

This is a great little phone if you are just after a simple, small flip-phone without loads of features. The phone is sturdy and well-made with easy to navigate menus and long operation times between battery charges. The original battery lasts for ages, but beware of non-genuine replacements as they are vastly inferior in my experience.
A disadvantage is that the exterior finish does get easily scuffed through normal usage and the phone soon looks a bit tatty.

The Free iPhone Guide

To get yourself a free iPhone all you have to do is follow the 3 easy steps:

Step 1 : Sign up for a free iPhone
Sign up at the link below to get your free iPhone. We recommend this free iPhone site because it's been TRIED and TESTED to work.

http://Gifts.real-incentives.com/2992 (copy and paste into browser)

You can choose other prizes like free consoles from this site too! Make sure you use a real email address. Use your real details when you sign up so that the company knows where to send your iPhone! Remember that they have been proven legitimate, so will send you your free iPhone if you do everything legitimately!

Step 2 : Try an advertiser's offer
Basically all you need to do in this step is complete one of the offers, this is where the freebie site make their money, if you complete an offer then the freebie site will recieve commission for it. So if you complete Coral which will only cost you £5 to complete, the freebie site gets £25 from Coral. The two best offers are Lovefilm Free DVD rental (rent two DVD's, keep them for about 2 days, send them back and then cancel the trial) and Coral (bet £5 on a sport). I would reccommend you do Coral as it credits in an hour and is really simple to do, Lovefilm however can become complicated and takes up to 2 weeks to credit! You can also try one of the other offers, most are gambling offers. Don't skip this step! You must complete this step to get your free iPhone!

Step 3 : Refer some friends
This part is a lot easier than it seems, especially now with free iPhone sites getting so popular. There's lots of people online who want a free iPhone too, so start referring them! You only need to get a few signups before you'll be finished. You can ask your friends or your online buddies. I already got a free PS3, Wii, and XBOX Elite without even having to ask my friends for help - there's lots of people online who want a free iPhone like you! One of the easiest ways to get a referral is to do a favour for a friend and ask them to sign up in return. That way, you both can get a free iPhone!

Basic rules
Don't break these rules! This is the only reason that you won't get your free iPhone, so make sure you follow these rules!

- One account per household - don't use a public computer to sign up!
- Use real information - this is a proven legitimate site and they will not give out your information.
- Only complete each offer once! You cannot complete the same offer again, even for different freebies.
- Don't try to cheat the system. This site has been proven legitimate, and they will catch you if you try to cheat. If you do everything legitimately, by following this guide, you will get a free iPhone!

Thats all, just follow my guide and you will have your free iPhone in no time.

Thank you.

  Samsung A800 cor!

A lovely little phone. Darn shame Samsung won't provide new batteries and I have to resort to buying 2nd hand phones to get them! Love the flip. Easy to use. Unfortunately, I also have to keep getting ones from ebay to replace the parts which wear out - screens, buttons etc. Luckily I have a found a bloke in Dona Lola, Costa del Sol who is a dab hand at unscrewing it/them and putting it all back together. All nice & tight!

This was a nice simple compact phone in its time, but older models suffer failure of the ribbon cable which power the displays, causing corruption or no display at all.

Buy a faulty bargin and postage means no recourse
Review created: 03/08/07
0 of 4 people found this review helpful.

Phone described as fully working apart from no back lighting to screen. The item had been apart before, screw covers missing, and was more damaged than described.
As postage to return would have been more than the cost of the item there was no point disputing the purchase after PAYPAL sent email stating to be eligible for a refund the Item must be returned at my expense.
Purchase written off and Amazon climbs in prefered sale sites.

  Samsung SGH-A800 Mobile Phone
Review created: 04/07/07

3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

this phone was bought solely for the battery as a spare for one of our current phones that battery always seemed to run out of charge too soon,so we always have one battery that is fully charged whilst using the other,
we paid approx £4.50 for the phone inc.charger, delivery etc instead of over £10 for a new battery .
we bought another Samsung SGH-A800 Mobile Phone for approx £10.50 through ebay as well and gave it to our 8 year old son to stick in his pocket when he is out with his mates so we can contact him to come home

the Samsung SGH-A800 Mobile Phone is a small compact flip-phone that sits easily in a pocket or purse not taking up much space, reception is good and clear; is comfortable to use; it takes a bit of time to use all the facilities and some of them may be a bit dificult for elderly folks to use as the keys and toggle buttons are small as well as the screen

we have had our phones for approx 5 years and in our extended family we have 5 of these phones on 02 and we have never had any problems with any of them, they are all on 'pay as you go'; coverage is good also

good luck

  A800 Samsung phone

The A800 is a smart, practical little phone. It was one of the first phones I owned and I still have it. I did not find the phone fragile. I have owned the phone for six years, and it still looks new. The ringtones are loud and sound good. You can download your own ringtones. Overall, it is a nice little phone, and ideal for somebody new to mobile phones.
