Andrea Bocelli - Sacred Arias (CD 1999)

Well I decided to buy for my mother after I found out she shared my love of Andrea Bocelli. Having seen him live in London Hyde Park I am smitten! His voice takes me to an away place.

I was given this C.D as a Birthday present, and it does not matter whether you are an opera officinado, a classics lover, or just a fan off popular music, this is a C.D for you. This mans voice is magical, and his rendition of Schuberts " Ave Maria " sung the way I remember my Mother singing it to my Sister and I as children, brought tears to my eyes.
I would recommend this C.D to anyone who enjoys music.

Coming late to this type of music I'm now trying to catch up, which is why I bought this album. Whatever Andrea does, he does with such feeling and his unique voice just carries you away in its warmth. Don't be fooled by there being 3 Ave Maria tracks; they're all different and delightful. I don't have any particular favourites on this album but if you're a Bocelli fan, or just like quality, it's a good buy.

I love the music on this CD, which is the reason I bought a second copy

The first copy is not in good condition, whereas the one I bought from ebay is in a really good condition, and I have it at my office. The original is at home.

I paid £2 + P&P instead of the retail price of about £13.

Bargain!

Bought to add to my collection of Andrea Bocellis's CD's. I bought this after the concert in Glasgow in October 2006. I had not previously bought this as I prefer his more contemporary music but when I saw this available thought I would have a go. Quite heavy going but nice to listen to one or two tracks at a time when the mood takes you. Andrea Bocelli's voice is second to none and there is no one I would prefer to listen to singing these songs and hymns.
