Rose Red (DVD 2003)

I really enjoyed ROSE RED so i bought the DVD. I love a good ghost story. and this really has it all.. a very creepy house and loads of ghosts. All combined into an excellent storyline.

A Group of psychics are about to conduct an investigation at Rose Red with the aid of a very special autistic little girl who has the power to bring rose red back to life.

If you love ghost stories then this is worth seeing. it really is brilliant!

This film is a masterclass from Stephen King, it last in excess of 4 hours and not once did i get bored, this film keeps you on the edge from start to finish with great acting and a brilliant storyline. One of the best films i have ever seen!

This film although extremly long, manages to keep your attention. No supsrise really well it's based on the great Stephen kings book

Im a big fan of any Stephan King film, and this one kept me very entertained, Ive got a Stephan King fact for you, he appears in almost all of his films and in this film he's the pizza delivery guy. I love this film mainly because its loosly based on a true story, about an actual house called Rose Red and all the historical facts about the property are rumoured to be true which draws me in.

I had watched this film when it 1st came out and really wanted to own it. I was really happy when i saw it again. I can remember it being very good but couldnt remember lots of things about it. Even though its a very long film it is very good. It couldnt be shortened in any way as its all needed in there to explain the story. This film is a MUST to watch! Im very confident that it will have gripped and intrigued from the start. Enjoy!!! xxxx

This is a great DVD, and although not anywhere near the fear factor of other stephen king titles, there parts where you will jump out of your sjkin, great film for the avid stephen king lover.

i bought this dvd because i love horror movies and i collect horror movies. i definately like stephen kings films. the price was very reasonable, just like the postage and packaging.

I normally hate horror movies and thrillers - I find them boring, because they normally have no story and are just films with blood and guts for the sake of having blood and guts.

But this was a completely different type of film, the story is great, it has depth and substance. And it scared the hell out of me !!!!

It is one of stephen kings film's and I haven't found a bad one yet.Although the film is on 2 dvd's as the film lasts for 245mins you need to make sure you have at least 2 and a half hours free as that is how long the first dvd runs for and the second dvd has rest of film and all the extras.

IM a STEPHEN KING FAN it is excerlant film well worth the buy acting could have been abit better other than that would recomend to anyone who is a stephen king fan what i like about his films is it is so close to the actual book

This is an ok film, the film is very long hd to watch it over two nights. It is a very slow film and nothing really happens in the first part of th film, I found it a good film but easily lost concentration when watching it with it being a slow film. Would recommend the film to anyone as it is good but it is not something I would watch on a regular basis.

I first saw this a few years ago and loved it. Stephen King is an amazing writer with a very unusual imagination. I have read most of his books, which are brilliant, and his movies taken from his books are just as good so i thought i would add this to my DVD collection, i am pleased i did as it is just as enjoyable to watch the second time around as it was the first.

I SAW THIS FILM A LONG TIME AGO AND HAVE READ THE BOOK SO I WANTED IT ON DVD. IT IS AN ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL FILM.

i saw the first part off it on tv and missed the second half but was that intrigued by what little of the film i saw i just decided to buy it and was not dissapointed. its a fantasic film done by a fantasic writer
