Film may be old but it is such a good timeless film that you can watch time and time again and still enjoy it. I personally would put it up along side DIRTY DANCING, GREASE, TITANIC- (u get the picture) Plus the soundtrack is so good, its worth watching the film just for listening to the great tunes x

As the title suggests, the story has definate Shakespeare influence. It is a modern perception of 'Romeo and Juliet', but without all of the sloppy love scences. In their place is plently of action packed fight scenes.

Good watch. Quite entertaining, and as a bonus, you dont have to decipher that old english language in order to understand the story.

it's a great bargan and it is also a great film, i look forward to watching it and ading it to my collection of jet li films, one of the best actors around

I really love everything about this film did have it but got broken so was happy to get it back agagin jet li and aaliyah are very good in this film!

I love this movies and find out who kill his bro and guess the girls (aliylish) famous singer. black people like bodygurad look after aliyish. the chinese guy help her and find out who kill the his brother. similer like beverliy hill cop.

With Jet Li the action is first class and the story is adapted from Shakespeare
"Romeo and Juliet".I had seen this film on VHS but as I was changing over to DVD I looked for a copy to replace my VHS copy which does not have the added extras.

A great action movie - lots of funny puns and fight scenes. This is probabkly Jet Li's greatest film.

It is set in the US where 2 rival families fight over prime water front land... this leads to sibblings on either side being killed and a very unlikely partnership.

starring Jet Li "Romeo Must Die" is supposed to showcase his is amazing kicking, jumping, and flying abilities. Yes, I said flying, which is where the digital effects come in. It was apparently not good enough that Li could perform any fight scene as gracefully as a ballet dancer, the producers felt they needed to enhance even that aspect of the proceedings. So not only does Li do the seemingly impossible, he does the impossible, too, at one point jumping straight up into the air seven or eight feet and spinning around a half dozen times, knocking down opponents with both legs. In "The Matrix" such high-flying, computer-enhanced stunts were implicit in the script; it was science-fiction fantasy and the characters had superhuman powers. In this movie such exhibitions of unnatural faculty simply look silly, and instead of making us say "wow," they make us think "no way." not the worse martial arts film but not that good either. The judgement i will leave to you.

I chose to buy this film as i have seen it many times on tv and always wanted a copy of my own. The seller i bought this item off was excellent at delivering the item and also notifying me about when the item had been posted and when i was expected to receive it etc. The overall service was excellent and i would buy many more items off of this ebayer!
