) i bough this for my daughter who raves about rocky all the time , she has Rocky Nights with her friends , its a fun anthology and although about boxing its not really violent and almost swear free a bonus in my eyes

These films,being some of my favorites,i was delighted to find it so cheap on eBay.I am currently transferring my video collection on to dvd,so am enjoying some of the bonus features & directors cuts you didn't get on video.In my opinion there isn't anything to dislike about this collection.A truly great watch.

What a great box set of the five films with Rocky Balboa.The first Rocky is a classic,Well worth the nine oscar nominations,later on awarding it the 1976 academy award for best picture.
As "john G.Avildsen"(director of Rocky and Rocky v)said "i think what Rocky did was give a lot of people hope."
The films show one man's struggle to overcome his own doubts and find his inner strenghts and overcome the odd's.
If you have not seen the Rocky films then i would highly recomend you watching these five ,you will not be disapointed.

I decided to purchase these dvds for my daughter as she loves rocky films,the price was very good ,and the quality of them are fantastic, i am very happy with them , I have brought alot of things off ebay and i have not had any bad things yet , I will carry on buying in the future as well so thank you.

unhappy buyerI ordered this DVD for my son as I was feed up of having to pay to watch Rocky films on sky! I thought that this would be the answer!
I did not receive the product that I bidded for! I tried several times to contact the seller but was unable to get any responce! I still have the DVD in the packaging it come in!
So if you are the seller I would still like to return this COPY of the BOX SET (one DVD) to you as I was very dissapointed with it.
I would advise that no one should buy from this person as they do not respond to any emails and your the buyer will receive something different to what you have been bidding for

Probally the greatest under dog story of all time.
The Rocky series is one of the most timeless I've ever seen. The story of the underdog boxer from Philadelphia getting a shot at the heavyweight title was a concept that alone gives one a reason to keep watching. After all, who doesn't like to pull for the underdog? It has that suspense quality of sports but also combines the captivating story behind it, which leads to a very entertaining experience.
The Rocky series is one of the most timeless I've ever seen. The Rocky movies were all written by Sylvester Stallone. He wrote the first Rocky in 1976 when he was starting out as an actor himself.
I love underdog movies, and this one is the best of them all. Who doesn't get excited when you hear 'The Eye of the Tiger'? By the end of the Rocky's, I felt as if I knew the whole family, having come with them from the 'old days' through all they've been through.
It really is a great story about the human spirit and how it can make an 'ordinary' man achieve his dreams, and go beyond, against all the odds.
If you like such movies, this is a Must Have! I highly recommend getting the 'Rocky Anthology', and watch out for the final Rocky, 'Rocky Balboa' coming Christmas 2006. I can't wait!

I bought this item for my partner for xmas, he's always liked the Rocky films and has always wanted to own them on dvd. Can't wait for xmas when he opens this present, he'll be chuffed and we'll be able to watch them on xmas day as i'm a big fan of these aswell!!
