I have watched this stand up over 30 times now and everytime im still in tears laughing! This Truely Is one of the best stand ups of all time!

This is an amazing stand-up! truly one of the best. It's Gervais at his most raw and best. A must have or must see for everyone who enjoys his works.

well was using this to teach english to my foriegn students so it allowed me to laugh touch on sland and diction why wasn't my teacher as inventive as me

Just genius in how he can make you laugh at everything. Very very funny. He can literally take a really touchy controversial subject and make anyone laught at it.

5*! if ur a fan of Ricky and want an evenings entertainment this will do it! so funny, actually cried with laughter at times! wud love to see him live! never a dull moment! excellent viewing!

Particularly love the 'bible' section- a great study in the absurdity of religion as only Ricky can deliver it.

Having enjoyed The Office and Extras i thought i would see what Ricky Gervais was like in stand-up form and he didn't dissapoint!

This DVD is too funny! Not as funny as 'Politics', but hilarious none the less. A segment on gay animals, need I say more?

Very funny film. for what i got it for it was an exelent deal. warning rickeys comedy is well to be frank quite revolting.

I have watched this on T.V several times, and now that I have it on DVD I watch it even more. Easily one of the funniest and most insightful comedy shows I have ever seen!

I had watched this dvd when it first came out and after watching the newer dvd politics i just had to watch animals again. It is fantastic. It is by far the funniest stand up i have ever watched. I enjoyed Politics by Ricky Gervais but in my opinion Animals is the funniest of the two and i never bore of watching it.

Ricky Gervaise is a funny guy but the Animals DVD is only a taster of what is to come with the release of politics,worth watching to see the master in action I would recommend this to all fans nobody makes you laugh like Ricky !!!

I had seen this DVD before at a freinds and really wanted to have my own copy as it is that good! I am a fan of all Ricky Gervais's work, and this is a brilliant hilaruous DVD.
I deffiantly recomend buying this DVD! It was worth every penny and I have already watched it about 5 times.

Very funny dvd,, wanted to buy it as i loved the office and i wanted to see if ricky gervais was as funny live,,, and he was :O)

For his first attempt at stand up Gervais excells and has certainly learnt, with close observation to his predecessors, what it takes to get the laughs in.

'Animals' displays Gervais' ability to extract humour from the most unlikely of places, i.e. from the Bible and the Nazi's (although, not together at the same time).

Gervais leaves his audience in stitches with very close attention to detail and perfect personifications that create mental imagery that is disgusting at times, but brilliantly vivid. This DVD show cases one of Britain's most original and popular comedians performing at a level that rivals other British greats such as Bill Baily and Phil Jupitus. And although very self aware of his iconic and rapidly growing status, Gervais delivers a performace that makes him look humble, certainly in comparison to his 'The Office' alter ego, David Brent.

I purchased the 'Animals' DVD as I couldn't stop laughing after seeing it on TV, and to my pleasant surprise I found that the DVD is extended and contains about 15 more minutes of ludicrous stand up than the aired on TV cut.
An absolute must for Gervais fans, even those just fond of stand up.
