After going to concert to see the chili peppers in summer of 2006, i found myself addicted to this band and wanting more. Buying this album should only done under the pretence that you want to delve into the history of the band

DO BUY if your into the post punk era of FUNK these guys a funkin awsome and can do amazing thing with instruments. all there songs are individual and are trademark of the early chili peppers. The late Hillel Slovak has an individual but failry simple way of playing a guitar but extracing the best out of a riff. although an amzing album for the "original fans" i think, if your new to the band and listen to californication, by the way, and of course stadium arcadium and blood sugar, then this is probably not hte album.

BUY this album if you want the complete album of the chili peppers

DONT BUY this album if your lookin to futher the chili peppers in a sense of there later music. you will find listening to there latest and then oldest album is like listening to a seperate band. they have certainly aged gracefully but you cant beat some good old FUNK
