This moving Tale of Two brothers 'On the run' is a thrilling story and Dustin Hoffman produced the best, most convincing acting in the role of Autistic Raymond Babbit.
You get into the feel of the roles and you put yourself in the 2 mens' positions, from Raymonds obsession with game shows to Charlies, the car dealer.

never believed Tom Cruise could act before seeing this film. Dustin Hoffman portrays an autistic savant convincingly. The USP of this movie is that it doesnt go overboard with emotions, but touches your heart subtly. And We are not made to believe that Dustin Hoffman is cured of his illness, though he shows some bonding with this brother. This film has a unique blend of sentimentality with humour and in that sense its a truly feel good film

The film gives an interesting view of what the world looks like for people with the condition called "autism" and what it is like for others to live with such a person.
Managing to give a positive outlook of the whole experience, this is a useful -and eductational to a degree- contribution to our society re. these nice people whom we refer to as autistic.
Superbly acted out, good plot too.
Highly recommended

What can I say any dvd collection without this title is not a collection. Two of Hollywood's greatest actors in one great story! Get it for yourself or for someone you love.
