Rage against the machine's self titled first album literally blew my mind!
Tom morello's unique guitar playing and Zach de la Rocha's Rap has made a rock rap fusion masterpiece!

This first RATM CD is for me the best one all tracks are excellent. Pure ROCK no samples keyboards or synhesiers. The bass guitar really kick ass on this one. I've listen to this music when I was 17 - now nearly 30 - still love it - don't use it in a car as you will have to pay a lot of speed tickets :P

great cd for all music loversgreat c.d
anyone who likes anything from rock through the heavy meatal always loves this, and even if your not into that but you have a good taste in music you will defently enjoy afew traks on this, its been about for a bit now and is one of those albums that will always be great however many years to come

One of my friends at school mentioned the CD and i heard the track "Killing in the name" on my GTA San Andreas game and loved it. I remembered that my sister used to be into Rage against the machine and I asked her if she had any CDs. She had this one and two others that I immediately put on. The rapping and instrumental solos are just amazing! I highly reccomend this CD to anybody who loves heavy rock.

i first heard this after a friend recommended it,he left the tape in our work van so i gave it a listen it must have been 1996 i think ,it wasnt long after its original release,at first it didnt do much for me ,i was coming from a metal hard rock angle and the whole rap thing didnt appeal to me ,but it was the classic metal guitar riffs that hooked me first and the distinctiveness of the guitarist tom morello,s playing,this is powerfull music perfectly played and the social issues rapped out by de la rocha the singer is captivating and exilarating,an absolute original of the genre and a classic bit of fusion.
