Took some getting used to, but like it now i can work it. Bought it for my son and was concerned he may not be able to work it but even i can work it and I am useless with mobile phones
I bought a blackberry mobile beacose i text all the time and wanted a phone with a good keyboard for texting and a screen which displays messages well . The blackberry dose all this well with its querty keyboard and has lots of other great organising abilitys and the usual mobile extras. Bad points are the monphonic ringtones , Blackberry 7230 phones dont seem abel to play polyphonic or real music tones and message alerts . The phone also dose not have a camera function and canot store or display favorite photos to share with friends. Despite it lacking these capabilitys it makes up for it in other ways and has a lot of very nifty functions beyond a standard mobile and is a good organisation tool . The other minus is that its fine for girls as it can be sliped in a handbag but for guys who want to put thier mobile in thier pocket its a bit large
this phone is great one of the best phone i have owned i bought this phone as i have a contract phone with t mobile and i my phone does not work very well the keys keep getting frozen. i bought this phone as i wanted a simple down to earth phone where i can just send and receive texts and calls.

Having converted most of my phone collection to phone I was thrilled to find this film gem in digital format. If you watch this in widescreen format, it really does the battle scene great justice; coupled with surround sound, you'll be gripped by the amazing information. I would recommend the phone that includes scenes about the relationship between the lead character and his estranged wife and helps you to understand the motivation behind his decision. The run time is 183 minutes for the phone cut and 120 minutes for the cinema version. I was, however, disappointed by the lack of extras, which any fan of this classic would expect to be included. There's only a 20-minute interview with the phone and other shot "making-of" vignettes.
Being fed up with contract phone thought I would try this one. I am very happy although learning about the phone etc takes time and much is done by me by trial and error method. Once you learn the 'system' it is easy to use. The one thing missing is a camera for me but I believe this is rectified with some later models. one other point is the volume of the ringer seems quite even on full power. Overall I am happy with the unit and would most deffinately buy another.
the blackberry phone is very lightweight and easy to use, it holds umpteen numbers and other vauable info that yoou might need when out and about. I bought the phone for my son as he is always on the go and needs t be in constant touch with work, friends and family, he is stoked that i managed to get this digital filofax for him
EVERY ONE SHOULD HAVE A BLACKBERRY MOBILE PHONE,, THEY DO EVERY THING THAT A COMPUTER CAN DO AND MORE PLUS ITS A MOBILE PHONE OUT OF 10 I WOULD GIVE IT 10,,,
this item is absolutely brilliant does everything we need looks great and easy to use. you can take it any where and you are connected to your office no problems. the display is clear and so it the telephone so no worries there.
the thing about the blackberry is that if you intent to use it in a different country from the country of pourchise, then you will not get it to work because even if its unlocked the phone is still registered with the provider company i.e.(t mobile,orange,o2). if you can get a clean phone go ahead. it has a lot of great features but they dont work unless you use the phone in the country of origin. i hope i've helped you
I like this phone because it has many different features; also the keyboard is excellent with the massive screen. The problem is that it is a little tricky at first, but after that it is a brilliant phone.
i recently purchased a blackberry smart phone off e-bay and when it came i was delighted.. unfortunatly the one i bought had no charger but it ran off a standard motorola charger so i used that. i got this phone because i wanted something what i could check my e mail and e bay account on the move, also able to record all the phone numbers and details i needed to. this phone was perfect for this and dont forget it makes phone calls too so its a good device for all things. the only dissapointment i thought was because it does not have a camera and it is nice to have a camera handy incase you see something you like and you can get a snap shot of it.. other than that i would give this phone about 8 out of 10.. a good little phone
I decided to buy this as my husband wanted to be able to email from his phone. Its a well laid out phone, great for text and email as the buttons arent teeny and its got a full qwerty keyboard on it! Its plain though with a really old menu and presentation, which i assume has been improved innewer models - though newer models have lost the qwerty keyboard which was invaluable.
Bought for my 78-year-old Grandmother who struggles with the texting on a standard mobile phone. She is delighted with the Blackberry's qwerty keyboard and the clear menu icons. It didn't take her long to get the hang of everything. She even uses the notebook to write out her shopping lists - now other members of the family want want of these phones, including her great-grandson.
Very easy to use, and seem to be a lot tougher than ordinary mobile phones (has been dropped a couple of times already, and didn't even flicker).
The scroll wheel at the side of the phone (depress wheel to select) is nice, fast and almost foolproof. And if you do happen to get lost among the menus, you only have to press the button below the scroll wheel to get back to the home screen.
Hasn't yet been tried on the Internet, but we've done lots of research on this model and haven't seen anything to put my Grandma off having a go at it.
It doesn't have a camera like the later Blackberry models, but for this price who cares about a camera? And besides, the later versions may have the camera added, but they don't have a full qwerty keyboard, and (after doing a bit more research) I believe that trying to text on these things can be quite a nightmare.
So it's a mobile phone, it's a PDA, it's got a good sized screen and nice colours... and it's cheap. What more can you say?
