The phone itself was too old, and not in a working order, i will recommend to go to the provider or to a phone companies instead... Overall the product wasnt good. An a bit over price!!!!

Always wanting a blackberry, I opted for the 7100v. This is a phone with almost everything you need. I have always had a regular mobile and texting was really easy, then I switched to the blackberry and the keys were totally different, I thought it would be easy too seeing as a I can type moderatly fast... but it wasnt, it took some time to get used to.
I love the fact that it wasnt too big, and it could fit into my small hands.
I do not think i was disappointed by anything.

do I need a blackberryI have wanted one these for a while
so I thought I would get a second hand one to check it out and see if I really needed one,
because they do seem to be a good aid

Blackberry 7100v Mobile PhoneI like the fact that this phone gives me everything i need to conduct my business away from the office, internet connection, email, windows mobile technology for word/excel etc.
I decided to buy this phone to replace my other Blackberry 7100v because I dropped it in a pool of water whilst fishing, so the fact that I wanted the same phone speaks for itself.
The only improvement I would make to this phone would be the installation of a camera.

I bought this phone as a spare to use whilst my 8700v is in for repair. The 7100v is an older style but useful. I upgraded the software on purchase (free from the Blackberry site) and was up and running in a few minutes. It has a sort of predictive text which works extremely well - you just type and it works out the words for you - correct 95% of the time and easy to correct if it isn't.
Overall a worthwhile purchase and if my 8700v is eventually repaired (keeps crashing), I will definately keep the 7100 as a spare

This is the first time I have bought something and I'm sorry I did.
Its my fault I think, but I cannot find out what all the keys do. I tried to send a text message and the phone would not connect. So until I get further info it stays unused in a draw. I bought the user guide but that does'nt show the key board in detail. so it wasnt much use.

A cracking gadget with styleMy third Blackberry the 7100 didn't disappoint. The different keyboard layout took some getting used to but was intuitive and I was soon typing quickly. All the functions are easy to use and the integration with my PC was fantastic.
You don't need to use the full e-mail forwarding function on a Blackberry to see the extended benefits of a device that you can link with Outlook. Thoroughly recommended. Don't get a standard phone for the same price.
The only downside is using the phone in full sunlight - the screen can be very difficult to see. Good job I am in England!
