Quantum Leap - Series 2 (DVD)

I had a fantastic experience with this seller.
When my DVD boxset didn't arrive, the seller made calls in his own time and found out that my boxset was in my local post office.
I had constant contact from him plus my DVDs arrived in great condition without even a rip in the box.
Highly reccomended.

Of particular note in season 2:

The Americanization of Machiko. A bittersweet episode celebrating the cultural differences between America and Japan and of love overcoming the prejudices of small-town minds.

What Price Gloria? The first episode that Sam leaps into a woman’s body. An absolute gem of an episode, if only for Al’s lecherous reaction.

Jimmy. A real tearjerker, hankies ready.

Another Mother. Sam’s a woman again. Sam & Al discover that small children and animals can see him for who he really is. We see some real humanity from Al in this episode.

M.I.A. The first time Sam realises his actions have very real effect on the course of history. A key episode, the one that pushed me from addicted to obsessional.

Love Quantum Leap and in the second series Sam is starting to get used to jumping in and out of different lives and situations. It becomes slightly more humorous as Dean Stockwell playing Al is used more and more to keep the humour going. Recommended for all Quantum Leap fans..

Always loved this series when it started in the late 80s till it finished in the 90s'.

What made it so good............. Hard to put your finger on just one thing really. Good writing, damn good acting, a good partnership with Scott and Dean. And good viewing from start to finish

Keeping fingers crossed that the new mini series planned does actually come to the screens. If it does I certainly will be watching this top to see the continuing adventures of the Quantum Leaper we all grew to love.

for all those that enjoyed the first series you will not be disappointed with the second...yet again more great stories for sam and his hologram friend al to solve.....cant wait to get the third series.....

love the tv show for its humour, and feel-good factor. eBay much cheaper than other outlets. this particular set in excellent condition. many hours of enjoyment anticipated.now looking out for series 3!
