The original was superb, this remastered version is better still. I found little touches of colour and texture that just weren't there on the original. Of course they were there......but now you can actually appreciate them. Sound engineers and producers must have a tough job sometimes with remastering a recording. It would be easy to overcook it. These guys for me, have got it just right; dynamic and colourful without losing any expressiveness. In fact, it really is better than the original. The whole album was more like traditional Oldfield than the ones either side of it's release which seemed to have a sort of 'Pop' influence. Perhaps I should say more traditional Oldfield. Well that's for you the buyer and listener to decide. If you don't have a copy I would urge you to get one; if you have the original, buy a remastered version; you can hear the difference, and, I think you'll love it. Bon Voyage!
