As you'd expect from floyd.....superb! Saw four live concerts during the 1994 Division Bell Tour and this CD (to replace a stolen copy!) is a must have. Could be back there again!
this is an amazing album, great cd to unwind too, just relax shut yor eyes and listen. there is nothing i dislike about this cd. i bought this cd to replace one that i lost and for the price it just can't be beaten
wanted the cd since come back of holiday, and the seller gave enough information about item, item was delivered very qiuckly and well packaged. was also a great price
I wanted to buy this album after buying the DVD of PULSE and it's one of the highlights of my Pink Floyd collection. I also had it recommended to me by my Uncle
Not only is this one of the best live albums around but also features some of the best packaging of any CD's I've seen. Full colour booklet with brilliant photographs from The Division Bell tour in 1994 and a very eye-catching main artwork by Storm Thorgerson.
The music however, is the most important part and the 1st disc opens with the very moving "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" and features many classic Floyd tracks including "Hey You", "Coming Back To Life", "Astronomy Domine", "Another Brick in the Wall Pt.2", "Learning to Fly" and a very powerful performance of "High Hopes".
Disc 2 is really the centrepiece of the whole package with a complete live performance of the 1973 album "The Dark Side of the Moon". It concludes with a fine encore of "Wish You Were Here", "Comfortably Numb" and "Run Like Hell".
There is nothing I dislike about this package. The sound quality is fantastic, and there is not one bad song on the whole thing. Unfortunately, there is no eye candy like the DVD but it's still an essential purchase for all Pink floyd fans.
A superb album from the distinct creative design of the CD cover, through to the very last track on the CD. Pulse covers most of the Floyd tracks throughout their career - it is absolutely excellent. The live crowd just add to the overall feel and ambience of the music. I do loathe the fact that Dave Gilmour has taken over the role of Pink Floyd even though Roger Waters created most of the music and lyrics himself and was spectacular in concert (Magny Cours, 2006.) However, disputes aside, if you are a Pink Floyd devotee and love their music, this is the CD for you.
