Picking Up the Pieces

I`m a big Woody Allen fan, particularly his triumphs in Manhatten, Annie Hall and Sleepers through to Hannah, Sweet & Lowdown and Manhatten, Murder Mystery.
This though is a film he really should have avoided. The jokes are thin and the acting is even thinner. If you are used to your Woody films being adverse yet romantic then don`t pick this.
Whilst the lame actors try to press their points out in the film to try and make it interesting during the special features sections, Woody is long gone and fails to appear. Rightly so, he probably wished he`d taken a sick leave. Horrible film with plastic acting. I dumped my copy in the bin I was so annoyed by it!!
