Philips DVP3120 - DVD Player

Here's the answer I got from the seller (bexlut) when I queried about this product which doesn't even switch on:
yann youve left me a negative feedback even before waiting for my reply. we do check all our items before sending them. Am not stupid to send you a dvd player that doesnt work. why it doesnt work now, is probably coz it was damaged in the post. Anywayz i was gonna send you a replacement or issue you a refund but for your impatience am not gonna do that. By the way am within my right not to refund you coz my warranty was for 14 days. So like the saying goes LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP.

I always wanted to buy a dvd player, but it had to be light, muliti regional, easy to use and affordable, I found it all in philips dvd player. The philips is excellent, i am planning to buy another.

the one really good thing about this dvd player is that it will play anything. multi region and copied discs, which i do not condone by the way but getting dvds from america before they are released over here is a warm and fuzzy feeling!!!!
a few little niggle but nothing that you could not live with. all round good player

Have only had it since this morning, but its compact and so easy to work. Its also multi region so i can play my Snow Buddies dvd at last - brill.

Wanted a DVD which played all other regions as proud owner of quite a few American one. This does exactly what I want it to do (without being too over the top technical). Very very happy with this purchase.

This product is perfect, i now get to watch all the dvds i own as i like o buy from around the world and they are all diff regions.

This is a very nice slimline system, it's very easy to use and also a good named brand. All you need to do is simply plug in and play.

the dvd was great. Great quailty and great value of money i bought it as i have most of my dvds are regions 1 and i didn't play on my old one so i bought it.

I bought it as a cheap replacement while my expensive (£300 )DVD player was repaired. I was amazed to find that it has more facilities and outperforms the old one. Nuff said

i wasnt very pleased with my purchase as it was advertised as a multi region dvd player but it didnt play all regions but i kept it becuase it would have cost me as much to pay postage both ways as it cost to buy so it went up the loft as a spare

Does the job - small and compact - works well. Appears to take a range of DVD's, CD's from various regions.

I have a DVD recorder, but it wasn't multi region, so I needed to buy one for my other region dvds. When it arrived I was a bit reserved, but the dvd player turned out to be excellent. Light, stylish, has got a good sound quality ( better than my dvd recorder one), quick to respond to commands, and arrived very quickly. Altogether the Philips DVP3120 - DVD Player is a good buy. Recommend it to anyone, who wants to buy a good multi region dvd player for reasonable price.

Overall it is a good player. It plays almost anything (like it said on the box). However, I wish it had rewind and forward button with different speed instead of just skipping the whole chapter.

I bought this dvd player, really because of the good price and make. It's a great little dvd player, plays everything and does everything you want a dvd player to do. It's a good looking, neat little player and doesn't look out of place in any room of the house. Comes with a neat little remote, which is good, but I tend to lose things when they're too small! Overall, I can't really fault this player.
