Good CRT 28" TV by Panasonic
An excellent tv. At 4 years old it is in perfect working order. Good quality picture and sound. The screen is large enough and not too back breaking to lift. Only the remote shows some wear to the printed numbers but all buttons are working.

Good picture and Sound quality from a CRT television.
It's well worth considering the Panasonic tx-28PL1 if you require a second tv or a non LCD television. Even if it's to be your only tv or you don't want or can not spend your money on a newer one, the Panasonic TX-28 could be for you.
Second-hand this TV becomes a real bargain.
When new they were on sale for around the £400 mark which puts them in the top end of the market, and a good second hand one on ebay may cost you as little as £15 or £20 and due to the fantastic quality last for many years to come, this model has 2 scart ports on the rear plus the normal s-video and audio ports (plus a standard aerial socket) so you can use this television with a sky or free view digital box. Due to the television being a "known" brand if it needs repairing it can be done as there are service centres and repair shops who can carry out any repairs(its older technology compared to modern LCD set ups)
On the down side of such a high quality the television is its very heavy to move around but how often do you move your TV normally! Another bad point is the depth of the television compared to a LCD television. The Panasonic TX-28PL1 takes up quite a bit of floor space. In my case this is not an issue, but in a small home it may well be.
The main question on anything you ever buy... is would I buy it again if I had to.... the answer so far is a firm YES.
