Paul Potts - One Chance (CD 2007)

As a winner of Britain's Got Talent, this certainly proves that Britain has. He is a superb performer in the class of many of the star opera singers currently performing. May he continue to offer us his superb talent for many years to come. Good luck to a great winner.

Having first seen him sing for Royalty on TV I realised he had real talent and decided to buy this album. The experts say he is not an opera singer but does that matter when he is so well received by the general public. Long may he continue to sing to rapturous applause.

After following Britains got talent, i realised that this man was humble, unique and had a simply amazing voice! I bought his cd because his story touched me.
He sings with such enthusiasm and you can tell he loves singing! I just had to buy this cd and support Britains talent!!
The songs we've all heard before but a fresh, new voice has brightened these songs.

I didn't see the TV programme and knew little about Mr Potts but my wife kept on about how 'good he was'. Bought her the CD for Christmas and I must admit the album does grow on you even if the music is not your scene!!

After voting for Paul on Britians Got Talent , someone bought the cd for me. I found it very easy to listen to and very relaxing. Must be played loud to fully appreciate the music.

i got this cd for my mum she thinks he's brilliant,i got it off ebay as i couldnt get it from the shops,great price too

heard it on brits got talent but fame has gone to his head, he only after the cash he got no real interest in what he sings,

Brought this as i was inspired seeing Paul Potts on tv not expecting to win and what a difference it is to see somone not thinking he will win and seeing the public making his life change..

I decided to buy the above c.d. because having seen Paul Potts on the t.v. talent show. I was so moved by the passion this man has for singing. How natural his voice is, he seems so involved with his songs. He seems to sing without effort and with such passion. His rendishen of 'Time to say Goodbye' had me in tears! If you love opera or just like to listen to good music, this c.d. is a must. I have listened to it over and over again. It is nice to see a natural talent like this. I wish him all the best in his now career. Denise.

Cheap postage and purchase. Liked the music on the disc. Good voice and likable character. An ordinary guy who's done well!

I have sent a cheque weeks ago and I have not received any goods or explanations to where the C.d.is or when to expect to receive it.I have sent them emails but no reply

i bought this to support PAUL in his quest for stardom , i consider him to have a lovely tenor voice , and seems a nice chap anyway .
this item was a bargain as well , good value for money ..

I didnt buy it for me, i was a present for my mum. She loves it and listens to it all day long.
I have listened to it and speaking from an indie & rock fan i have to say it was very pleasant indeed.
There are familiar songs to all the CD and they man has an incredible voice.
A nice, easy listening to album and a great gift for the over 40's i think. Then again, if you like that type of music youll love whatever your age.
A nice guy, great voice and very good choice of songs from beginning to end.

BRINGS GOOSEBUMPS TO ME EVERY TIME I LISTEN TO HIM SING. FANTASTIC! A WELL DESERVED RECORDING ARTIST!

he is a very down to earth young man with a beautiful voice.i like every song on the cd.theres is nothing i dislike at all.oh just that it could have had more songs on it!!
I bought it because i saw him win the talent contest on tv and i liked his voice.I would most certainly buy more of his cds in the future

I decided to buy this cd because it sounded so good on tv... with all the clapping and jeering on x factor and mr potts looking so humble captured my kind side...sorry to say if one is really an opera buff and used to listening to the likes of pavarotti and such like one would be disappointed with this cd...it really does sound like an englishman singing opera in italian...without mr potts face the cd really did nothing for my love of opera classics...

I decided to buy this CD as I had heard Paul on the tv and liked his voice very much. Also a lot of the tracks appealed to me as although he has an operatic voice he was singing well known pop songs. I have got to a stage in my life where although I enjoy pop music I am not very keen on a lot of the modern music around to-day so this cd makes a pleasant change.

On July 30th I received my CD after following the story of Paul Potts for over 6 weeks. Although I had heard all the songs prior to getting my copy it still is much better than I anticipated. This CD was put together in less than a month after Paul Potts won the Britain's Got Talent competition, yet it is very polished. I seldom find an album worth listening to every song. This CD is different.

My favorite tracks are Nessun Dorma, Time To Say Goodbye, Caruso, Nella Fantasia, and Cavatina to name a few. I could have easily named them all. With the accompaniment of the London Symphony Orchestra (most songs), Paul's voice will penetrate your heart and rest in your soul.

This is not an album to use as background music, but rather to sit in an easy chair or recliner with your favorite beverage and prepare to travel to a place where the mundane activities of daily life will not matter, where you will be lifted up and set free.

The CD may have minor technical flaws but they are easy to overlook with the overall quality of this work. If you like classical, opera crossover music you will appreciate this album. If you have never listened to this type of music before then it is time to give it "One Chance" and join Paul Potts on his "bus journey to Never-Never-Land".

well he won from nowhere, no-one knew him, no-one had heard of him, and you can tell from this album that you understand why people say he could make millions, i bought it for the mrs, and listened to it in the car, and i tell ya what, superb, he has Russell Watson licked by a mile, this guy is really really good and strong, but not only that you can see that it was made by a man who loves music like cowell, and not a pleb like waterman, who loves karaoki classics..
its a defo must buy
