This item although used was in very good condition on arrival. It is just as described by the seller & very easy to use.I chose this model because Olympus are renowed for their voice recorders and the one I saw in Argos which is the next model up, was £140. I would highly recommend this item to anyone who is looking for a recorder that is discreet because this one is so small.
When I got it out of the box for the first time, I noticed just how small it was, and how very very light it was, even after I put a battery in. It also looks really great and part of the fun with this dictaphone is that you can place it next to somebody elses dictaphone in a meeting or lecture and you know they are saying 'I wish I had one of them, where do I get one?' in their head!
I've used the Olympus WS-320M for about four months and it does exactly what I wanted it to. It even managed to record a full lecture in brilliant quality whilst I sat in the middle of a 300-seat theatre. On the battery life, a single battery is more than good enough for a day's general use, an overnight charge with some good rechargeables is advisable to be on the safe side.
The screen is also very clear, it holds a lot of information about what is being recorded and the folder it is being recorded to. The best thing about is was the fact that given the amount of features it packs for a dictaphone, I only had to flick through the manual once or twice as it's really quite self-explanatory.
