Nvidia GeForce 7600 GT, (256 MB) PCI Express Video Card

Great card for the money.The GeForce 7600 GT is a powerful, affordable 3D card. If you're looking for a stopgap graphics card to hold you over until Vista and Direct X 10, you won't be disappointed.

I bought this card to complete a Rig for my younger brother and boy am I impressed.
This card sits on an Abit An8 Mobo with an AMD 3200+ (overclocked to 2.2Ghz)
with 2 Gig of ddr pc2700 Ram and it plays crysis at medium settings with a minimum 20 fps - I'm blown away!
It plays COD4 on full settings at 24 fps and BF2 at 80 fps !!!
If I didn't know any better I would think it was a much more expensive recent card was sitting in the case !
Great stuff - and cheap too - you should be able to pick up one for under £30.

If you, like me have a slightly older system, like say an AMD 64 3500, 1GB ddr ram and a 6600GT graphics card then this 7600gt graphics card will improve your system no end, making games like Half Life 2 - Episode 2 and Call of Duty 2 come back to life letting you have more detail on the screen without having to upgrade ram or cpu's! A recommended upgrade if you are working to a budget.

This IS a great card and I've been using one quite nicely for the last year. But recently, games have been coming out that require a bit more and mean that I have to run them on low graphics settings... So, I got a second one of these and SLI-ed it up with my current one. I was hoping it would give me the capabilities of a top-end 8000 series graphics card, so I was a little disappointed. However, now that I've lowered my expectations somewhat, I realise that two is DEFINITELY better than one and it is STILL very good! I can now play oblivion with MOST stuff on high, Unreal Tournament plays perfect with everything on high. I played the COD4 demo with all settings on high too. The only letdown is Crysis, everything on low. hmph! But then, I chastise myself for expecting too much! (I still want a top end graphics card now...just can't justify it yet!) All in all a great middle range card!

Great graphics card. plays all the kids games that my old graphics card wouldn't. I bought this card as it had very good reviews on other websites plus i got it at a good price.
