So if you haven't gotten hip to the dual-screened diversion's charms – i.e. touch-sensitive titles experienced through top- and bottom-mounted visual displays using a stylus or d-pad- and button-based front-end – now's the perfect chance.



On the downside, the machine's enhancements are more cosmetic than anything else, simply offering gamers a less cumbersome, more stylish way of getting their New Super Mario Bros. or Magnetica on. But when that's the harshest criticism current admirers can level at the unit, which will surely continue to spark sales of the deservedly acclaimed DS platform (17 million of the devices have already been snapped up worldwide), hey… Be thankful. It's not like we're looking at another N-Gage QD.

My son had his complete ds system and games stolen and I offered to buy a new one. However I saw this on ebay and thought it was a bargain as it was nearly new and camew with 3 games. He was very pleased with my purchase. It was a nice quick transaction with a pleasant seller. Also as some of the sellers appear to be a little greedy with price and or P&P on new machines and a litle deceitful about location I bid and kept my fingers crossed and was lucky to have an honest seller.
For me there were no downsides for this purchase

I didn't actually see this Nintendo for myself, as I sent in straight on to my Grandson in France cos he lost his on a plane a few weeks previously.
My daughter however, is very happy with it, says it is in very good condition,
and most of all it pleased my Grandson no end.
There was a slight delay by the seller in posting the Nintendo to myself, she explained that they had family problems, which was completely understandable.

My daughter had been on the look out for a second hand DS for a while, and after entering a few auctions we finally won this one. She very happy with it and it was good value for money as it came with a carrying case and a game.

ds lite was advertised as B+ condition, but when it arrived it was like brand new and even came in original box. excellent product, and A++ ebay company.

this came packaged very well,and is certainly a vast improvement on the earlier ds,i certainly would say that it was one of my best finds this year,and i would say that black is a very desirable colour,i will keep it for myself.

the ds lite is in good condion the 25 game on one cartridge work fine no problems note 2 badly priced better than in the shops

The 30 games supplied with this auction are illegal. I have telephoned Nintendo, and they have told me that they are illegal copies.

brilliant console for all family, bought for my 7 year old soon. he can use it easily, child friendly not too complicated, can swap games now and chat on DS with sister. Really well worth money

This item was bought as a present,dont really know why she wanted a certain nintendo,maybe it was to do with it being a limited edition nintendogs.Anyway shes happy with it,and it plays all the games.

I bought this item because the games were pre-loaded onto a chip, saves having loads of boxes hanging around and makes it easier for my 3yr old daughter to change games. I found the cost to be very ,compared to special offers at retail outlets such as Argos it didn't compare. Brilliant value for money

This console is a little bit different than most with a black body and shiny dark blue lid. Is it the Adult DS? I have a red one and my partner has a blue one whilst my nephews have the paler colours. Reasonable comparison to high street prices.

Wanted a small console to take on long haul flights/airports. Great little console. Easy to use and very addictive. I've been using it most days and the novelty after a month has yet to wear off! Wireless link to our Nintendo Wii was a pleasant extra!

I used paypal to pay for this item and where the person selling the item printed the postage label on the bottom of it was a completely different address where I have never stayed nor been too either. I then learn paypal have no reason for it happening SO I RETRACT MY STATEMENT NOW KNOWING THE FACTS BEHIND THIS COCK UP BETWEEN ROYAL MAIL AND PAYPALS MERGING SYSTEM SO ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK THIS AS IT COULD BE A HACK.

I decided to buy a nintendo ds lite console so I could play the Brain Training and other similar applications to "exercise my brain". I chose to buy from this buyer as he answered my emails promptly, appeared genuine, had a good feedback score and offered three games with the console. It was a great buy practically as new and just as described. The seller was brilliant and sent the item registered next day as a bonus. I use the item as do my two kids (when they get a chance. By the way I have a brain age of 23 years and I am over 40 years old!!! Just need a new body now!

Bought this for my Dad for Fathers Day - with Brain Training.
Once he'd figured out how to turn it on we were away!
My daughter got one for Christmas last year & both she & her 3 year old sister really love it...great on plane trips etc coz its so portable & unlike a lot of these things battery life is very good - hers lasted for a full 2 weeks when we forgot the charger last holiday!
Throughly recommend..thinking of getting one for me now too!! My Brain certainly could do with the help!!

Obviously, it does exactly the same things as the normal DS console...
Bought mainly for the brain training & sudoku games, I must say it does the trick !! Perfectly indeed !! Very entertaining ! Even for a non video game addict !
I added few other games as well... Obviously it is not meant to be as beautiful and fast in term of graphism as the Playstation PSP but it is very playable.
This model has a purple cover... very stylish and original !!
