Whats not to like about this handheld ?. It is not as powerful as sony's psp but boy is it more fun to play the dual screen one of which is touch sensitive makes for a truly original gaming experience. So much more involving than just pushing buttons all the time some of the games are so immersive due to the touch screen. Also it is from the nintendo stable so a wealth of great titles are readily available. The only downside for me is the bulk and weight of the unit it can get quite uncomfortable if playing for a while but other than that this handheld is faultless.

Easy to use, fun for all ages. Although maybe not as portable as the new DS Lite it is still a very useable unit with all the same functions. Nintendogs is a very addictive game and a brilliant way to raise your own family of dogs. Being able to play Nintendo Gameboy Advance games is also a bonus.

i am looking for ds consoles at a reasonable price and this came into that range i like the game play at your fingers and these are light and ideal for travel i dislike that these dont keep charge for that long at a time

I was given this product as a xmas present and used it with my down syndrom neice and she loved it. It was great for her learning capacity and will be a big favorite, as lots of games available for her to use and learn

My daughter had an old style ds, which was past its sell buy date. Screen all scratched etc, bought her a ds lite, and it is like night and day to the old style ds, clearer picture and sound, and hardly weighs anything.

I got a DS for my son for christmas, he's 6 and loves it, he finds it so easy to use, and theres a wide range of game for it for any age, my dad liked it so much i got him one for his birthday, so i can honestly say its great for anyone from 6 to 66 :)

I decided to buy this product for my nephew has the one he had got broke and he was very upset about it.

Have played on a friends ds many times decided to get my own i love playing games the good thing about the ds is its portable you can take it anywhere its very addicitive thou cant seem to put it down oh well never i can always do the house work tomorrow or the next day or the next and so on and so on lol

I heard that the game challenge your brain in lots of different ways rather than a games consoles it definately lives up to my expectations.

Being of an older age, I was looking for a Nintendo DS for the brain training and eye training games. I felt the Nintendo DS Lite may have been too light and small for my fingers, which can be a little stiff some mornings. I decided to go for the slightly bigger, heavier, older version, the Nintendo DS. I kept an eye on several Nintendo DS'S to get to grips with the average prices they eventually sold for. I found 4 that I liked the look of and came with the extra's bits I was looking for. (Case, charger, car charger, ear phones, stylus pen and one game)I made sure the game came in the box and had the instruction; this will enable me to swap this for a second hand brain training game. I checked with the seller that the casing and screen were scratch free, and hinges were not loose.
I received my Nintendo DS this morning and am very happy with it.

As a 64 year old Grandma this was my first experience of playing games on a console. I can't usually get away with "technology" & am not good at following written instructions. The Nintendo DS is SO easy to use & instructions very easy to follow even for me! I am having lots of fun with it.I bought it because of the touch screen facility - no fiddly buttons to press etc! Really there is nothing I don't like about it, just wish I had more time to play on it.
