The bad: Third-party support for the system hasn't matched the originality and ingenuity of Nintendo's games, and multimedia potential remains exclusive to Japan. The system is quite bulky. The much more stylish and comfortable DS Lite is available for the same price.

The bottom line: While it lacks the multimedia and graphical finesse of the Sony PSP, the feature-packed Nintendo DS is a worthy successor to the Game Boy Advance--but the new and improved DS Lite is available for the same price.

I bought this item as I have been interested by the Brain Age Training adverts I had seen on TV. It turned out better than I'd anticipated and I now own several games and am hooked on playing!

this is the best buy i made in a while as my 3 year old and 5 year old fight over the 1 ds now they have 1 each no more fighting.

as well as amusing children i also think it can help with reading and hand to eye co-ordination. You are also able to play Gameboy advance games as well as teh Nintendo Ds Games. I would definetly recommend to others, especially those with childen.

The ds is portable and easily carried with enough games to keep the kids quiet for a week. I love this product.

I love it if your buying an import you do not need a voltage changer the standard charger for the country you are in will work perfectly well & cause no damage to the unit. They are totally universal including the games. If you like to be a little different from others go for an import colours differ in the Us to Europe.
Only disadvantage of import unit might be the validity of the guarantee.

I bought this second hand Nintendo DS at E-Bay and couldn't wait to play the games on it.My son has the lite version and I was hoping that the games fitted but i didn't need to worry as all the games work beautifully.The only down side of the DS is that it is highly addictive and I have had to be very strict with myself.I can highly reccomend this gadget for the over 50's as it keeps the mind working and every little helps.Right must go as I have games to play.

For those of you out there who are thinking of getting a Nintendo DS lite for anyone under 7 I would say to you to get this one first. Little bit more bigger and also very stirdy should they drop it etc.

i bought this item for my daughter for xmas, i have tried it and its perfict, the starting price was good, and the price i ended up paying was great for all that the seller included.i know that this was a great buy.

After I paid for the item I was advised that it was broken despite the description. I am now trying to obtain my money back for this as I paid immediatley as you should...Buyers Beware with this Ebayer!!!!

This is my daughter's second Ds after her first one failed to charge.This one has put a BIG smile back on her face as she was not expecting it and for her to have got it before we go on holiday is an added bonus.
The ds work's just great and the hard case should protect it further.

Ease of use. Bought second hand so not sure if it's a problem with the make or the used product, but it doesn't recognise the word blue in brain train, and not easy to write numbers. But good fun so far those seems to be the only problems

The Nintendo DS is a fantastic console suitable for all ages. Bought this having played on my friends and have not been disappointed as the touch screen really does add another dimension to your gaming experience. Was surprised also at how good the graphics were for a portable gaming device, and with such a variety of games there is certainly something for everyone.

After my mum had a go on this she was hooked and she has already been out and bought one with the brain training game. Overall would recommend highly to one and all.

My 5 year old son loves the DS I think thier alot better than the DS Lites for smaller children more hard wearing!A great buy!

The nintendo i purchased was missing a standard charger,but had a car charger instead it did say this.Not only that it did not have a touch pen with it, this was not stated in the information block.However i did like the carry case that came with it.The postage cost was rather steep considering reused packaging....

Not a fan of nintendo games, but brain training is brilliant!!

However can get this game on other consoles, so wouldn;t bother buying a new DS, get a second hand one off ebay like i did

I really like these consoles they are great for the children. Very easy for their little hands to hold and play. The price is really good, and does not reflect the quality of the console. The only thing that bothers me is that occassionally they become hard to load the games. This can be quickly fixed by giving the compartment a quick blast of air to clear any dust that may enter in. They are also very child friendly as mine have 1 each now and have been dropped on the odd occassion and they still work perfectly fine. You don't really get a moments problem with these consoles. This one I purchased for my nephew as he is also trying to get his hands on my kids consoles. There is also alot of games still available for the Sp, and if you do decide to upgrade you can still play your old games on a DS.

great bargain came with 5 games and a case in great condition the seller also posted the item out very quickly and it was packaged very well to prevent damage

I decided to buy the ds as my son wanted one for his birthday, we had looked at a few but couldn't afford a new one, it was a really good buy in perfect condition, he was really pleased and hasn't put it down since.

The games are brilliant my daughter can't stop playing also the crack is bearly visible.Addictive and fun!

nice ds but wrong descipion about item so that what i told the se;ller so he can relist it again and let someone else have it it did not have 100 games with it the seller said that it the games were on dvd what was listed but it was noot listed so thats why i told the seller that she can relist it back on ebay for some one to have but it was nice ds but not what i need from sven4316
